  Another lovely Austrian Hotel

  This was a lovely hotel; but there are two reasons I have only given it 4 stars: the food, although good, was just not as good as in the hotel we had stayed in In Pertisau the week before, so we were a little disappointed, and the second reason was that our room did not have much of a view. However, our room was really nice, and so large we could lose each other in it! We had a table and chairs and a sofa, and two televisions (not that we watch much TV while we are on holiday!) Also large wardrobes with lots of coat hangers. The balcony was rather enclosed, but that did make it quite private. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is conveniently situated for the nearby gondola and the buses up and down the valley. We had an excellent walking holiday here and the free Silvretta pass made getting around very easy.

  Summer holiday

  I've have always wanted to go to Ischgle and was not disappointed. lovely village very pretty. Shops expensive though. The hotel Alpen Ischglerhof was excellent. All the staff were lovely from reception, waitresses and the house maid who cleaned our room. The breakfast had a great choice of meats,cheeses, yogurts, fruit very good. The main meals were also excellent.When you stay in the hotel you get a card that give you free us of chair lifts, cable cars and buses. This is super excellent. Great walks here and get on a bus a walk from other close villages. Brilliant, so pretty.

  ... just perfect Highly recommended!

  We have just returned from a perfect family holiday, spent in Alpenhotel Ischglerhof! It has a very good location, the staff was kind, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, towels were changed daily, the spa area was like a dream. Being able to leave your car in an underground garage is very convenient for the comfort and safety as well! Starting the day with a rich, healthy breakfast and a really good coffee/cappuccino/latte its very important! Dinner was served with care, always tasty with excellent ingredients! ... we will definitely be back! Highly recommended! p.s. Congratulations for the Kurz family and the whole staff for doing such a great job!!!

  Lovely stay

  The hotel is in the heart of Ischgl, just a few minutes walk from the main cable-car, shops, restaurants, supermarket and bus stop. All the staff without exception were friendly and welcoming and really couldn't do enough for you. Our room was beautiful, amazingly clean, comfy bed, spacious, brilliant shower and lovely balcony with a view of the mountains. The meals were wonderful with a buffet breakfast with a good choice, and a five course evening meal with salad, soup, starter, choice of main course and dessert. We stayed for two weeks and there was no repetition with any of the food offered. There was a very friendly vibe about the hotel, we enjoyed a post-dinner drink in the lovely lounge/bar some evenings, and the atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back. It was obvious that all the staff worked really hard to create a lovely environment for their guests. The decor of the hotel was really nice, with some lovely colour schemes and just very tasteful throughout. Although we didn't use it, there is a spa area in the hotel with pool and sauna. All guests in Ischgl receive a visitor's card for the local cable-cars and buses and we had some great days out in the area using this. We booked through Ingham's Lakes and Mountains, and the holiday was fantastic value for money. The only minor complaints are that there was no coffee machine/kettle in the room (which is apparently completely normal for Austrian hotels) and that the pillows were very soft (but when we requested extra pillows they were delivered to our room within minutes). I would totally recommend this hotel and Ischgl for a wonderful holiday surrounded by amazing scenery, and would love to return one day.

  A very tasty experience at Ischglerhof Hotel!

  1st time at Ischglerhof Hotel. I would like to highlight: - Location: 150 metres to Silvrettabahn. One of the ski slopes to the village finishes in front of the hotel (10 metres to the Ski room!!) - Culinary experience: unbelievable quality and variety of the food every single dinner. Passion for the details - Spacious and comfort room perfect for families (4-5) - Spectacular SPA area with an incredible private space for adults and a fantastic indoor swimming pool for children. In summary a fantastic week in the relaxing-if-you-can village of Ischgl!
