Good hotel, beautiful rooms, delicious foodStayed here 5 Years ago and had a lovely experience causing us to come back. The rooms are renovated in the meantime and very beautiful with a large terrace with view on the mountains. They have 2 parking spaces to park the car nearby the hotel. Staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. We noticed a few differences than 5 Years ago, namely: no more prosecco at breakfast and no more freshly baked eggs at Your choice and with different kinds of toppings by a chef. No they have a bain marie with scrambled eggs and eggs sunny side up and You can choose to bowl Your egg Yourself. But lot's of choice in fresh fruits, cereals, dried fruits, juices, milk, yogurt, bread, ... The 5 course dinner is delicious, far out the best dinner of all the skihotels we've been in in Austria. Only disadvantage was that the hotel was crowded with Dutch people. They had holidays and were invading Austria. That made the restaurant very noisy and loud. The peace we've had in the restaurant 5 Years ago when we could enjoy the meals, was gone. For breakfast we had to wait untill 9h15 to eat in peace because earlier the Dutch were massively present and noisy. For dinner we rushed in at 18h30 when the restaurant opened and gorged our 5 courses in 1 hour, 1 hour and a half to be out because the noise of the Dutch was overwhelming. That was not such a pleasant feeling for us. 5 Years ago we took our time to enjoy our food and now it was quick quick to be out of the noise and in the quiet of our room. That's not the fault of the hotel of course. And we will check the holidays of the Dutch from now. Never skiing with Dutch again because they take over Austria, even on the slopes it was like an invasion. Dutch spoken everywhere instead of German. We never used the pool because this was crowded with very noisy and screaming children. The Dutch children seem to be allowed everything from their parents. Don't Dutch people know education or politeness at all? But if You visit this hotel out of the Dutch holiday season it will be superb!

Good hotelBooked the hotel last minute with TUI Belgium. Last week, was I think the more quieter week of the whole winter, so the hotel was not fully booked, it was really not over crowded then what I read in the former review (dutch voorjaarsvakantie....). We booked a room with a panoramaview witch costed a little bit extra but was worth it. Great room, nice terrace with a loveley view of the mountains, sitting area, lots of storing place and a modern bathroom. Our daughter, husband and our 2 grandchildren booked a suite with a seperate bedroom, seperate toilet, large bathroom, sitting area annex bedroom. Hotel is very clean and staff is very, ver friendly. The owners are friendly but a little bit more reserved, but no problem with that. We arrived saturday afternoon and were welcomed by a friendly woman and a nice young man who explained everything about parking, skibus etc. Welness area is great and modern. Swimming pool nice for our children (very quiet during our stay ) The restaurant is very nice decorated and all the tables have nice linnen with the hotel logo on it (you can find it also on the dishes, cups and plates and pilows in the rooms...) Nice accent! Food is great. Fresh with lots of choice. As well in the evening as in the morning. Drinks are reasonably priced (we found the winelist rather expensive). We ordered the house wine per 1/4 L. No great wines but good price/quality. The only remark about the food would be for our 2 grand children, aged 2 and 4. The childrens menu was to compicated for them. They want simple food (patatoes, vegetables, a little piece of meat) rather then the things they serve here. But that aplies to our children and is perhaps personal and is just a minor negative. Skibus stop is a very short walk from the hotel and bus pases every 10 minutes. No need to take your car. Hotel parking is 300 m away from the hotel. Had a great stay and would defenitly return for our family skiïng holiday.

Amazing Hotel, amazing Staff!I spent 4 days with my family in this lovely Hotel in the heart of Nauders. The rooms were recently refurbished and offer big, comfy beds, a spacious bathroom and are very clean. The Hotel also offers a small Spa with 2 kinds of sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, pool and two quiet zones. Massages can also be booked at the front desk. They offer a vast, delicious breakfast buffet every morning. Your choice of dinner is made upon breakfast and can be one of five given options. Dinner itself was delicious every evening! The Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and fulfills almost every wish. Mountainbikes can also be rented and the hotel-owner, being a Bikeguide, is assisting with tourplanning or also accompanying your tour if booked in advance. We will definitely be back!

excellent hotel for mtn. bikingWe enjoyed this hotel very much. They had a late afternoon buffett which was very diverse. The food was excellent and service too. Furthermore, the Mtn.biking flow trails are designed so you can ride all the way down without having to stop. They have four easy intermediate flow trails that were the exteremly fun and well prepared. There are also two or three balck runs and a lot of forest trails for beginners. The sauna has a beautidul layout and quiet room.

INCREDIBLE PLACE & PEOPLEAbsolutely FABULOS place ! We thank Family Ploner & all the CENTRAL HOTEL Team. It was a truly unique experience. Very difficult, if NOT impossible, to find a hotel in this region where you can have the distinguished gastronomy requirements with the easy going family club style. Yes, its clear that at the pool sometimes, especially between 5PM and 7PM, it can be crowded, as there are many families with kids, but this is tolerable by intelligent people. The welcome team at the desk is decisive: from the very start of your vacation, you feel that youre a GUEST and not only a room number. The hotel is top clean, your room daily arranged as you wish, the quality of the service impeccable. The kitchen is FABLUOS, as you got the chance to be served by a team under Jürgen Mathoy guidance, and with the local support of Michael Ploner, always smiling and available for advised explanations. The presence of Frau Ploner, especially for the supervising of the breakfast quality, is highly appreciated. Herr Ploner input is decisive, as you feel the boss working together with his team to make a guest GREAT vacation. Hotel superbly located, in the middle of Nauders, amazing place at 1400m, not so fancy as Anton am Alberg or Kitzbuehl, but identically the same as charm & opportunities for winter vacation, directly near the bus stop taking you from/to Landeck Train Station, with guaranteed direct connexions with Switzerland, Germany or France. More over, guests have access to the SKIBUS, freely utilizable, taking you in 5 minutes directly to the Winter Station Ski/Sledge Lift from where you can be in 10 min up to 2200m, at fab BergKastel departure point for ski/sledge run to Nauders. Everyday, after ski/slege run, at the entry in the hotel you can sit along the fire in the cheminee, enjoy a afternoon snack (cream soups, local wursts, local cakes), play cards or discuss with the other families. The St Sylvester Night was at the best, with a 5 dishes Menu to remember, a glorious local wine (Maximus), dance fever until 3 AM (even if the guests, maybe addicted to winter sports, left the dance floor earlier that it should be for such a night), and at the end farewell drink served together with Michael Ploner & the team. In a total: SUPERBE PLACE. Let me say again, dear family Ploner and your team, THANK YOU until next years when, certainly, we shall be back as your GUESTS.
