  Worst place every

  Worst customer service. Beds so hard may be made of bricks. Dirty rooms. No idea who gave them 3.5 star rating. The Indian guy so rude have no manners. Please never stay there its so cheap its less than 2 star property. Misleading information. I checked out after 30 min because of poor customer service . Asked for fan , receptionist gave me broken fan. Never book with Agoda. Be aware of that property. I wasted my money please dont waste yours.

  booked for two nights only stayed for one

  My wife and I travelled from central Waikato to Paihia to visit with some friends we had not seen for some time. since recently retiring and having limited funds we are careful about how we spend, however I thought a couple of days in northland/ Paihia would be a nice after Christmas relaxing holiday. "forget about that" The motel was absolutely filthy the oven door is covered in Grease, the floor of the shower is Grey with ingrained dirt, what is supposed to be the "couch" has absolutely NO padding and a box frame which is very uncomfortable, the seat is about eight inches off the floor which, for persons of over sixty proves very difficult to get down onto but impossible to get up out of. Every surface has a coating of dust. The bed and bedding i must admit was very clean but pillows had that smell of unclean hair which a couple of hours in the sun would get rid of. The front door and terrace seating area had not been swept in weeks and the door was all split at the bottom. The television showed TV1, Prime, Duke, Two sport channels and discovery yet Sky is advertised as available. The available channels were unwatchable due to interference or some similar type problem which displayed snow on screen. To his credit the manager offered me another room but I opted for the second offer of refunding us the cost of our second night.

  It's rating should be 1 instead of 4

  I don't know how this place is 4 star. I have never seen such a worst place in like more than 10 years. Staff doesn't kne wt guest service is. The staff was rude. We requested for extra bed n we got one with no mattress. Marble floor would be better than that. I would suggest not to visit this place if you wanna have a nice and comfortable staff. Booked place for 1 night, couldn't even stay for 10 mins.

  Paihia

  We were delayed and arrived late. Host was accomodating and helped us settle in. We had to park further down the road (truck). Staff came down and picked us up. Clean tidy room. All the facilities you would expect. Pleasent stay.

  Areas of the unit substandard

  Toilet loose on floor and leaking when flushed, parts of bathroom skirting board very grubby, shower curtain hem manky, couch stained/soiled. Roomy, clean sheets and towels but certainly general standard needs lifting.
