  The Best Part Was Leaving

  Caling this place a "dump" is too kind to both the owner operator and the surly, smug and willfully stupid people he has chosen to staff the front of the house with. Their nasty attitude and disregard for paying customers' wants and needs, in what is the HOSPITALITY industry, has been remarked on locally in Koh Samui for years. It seems as though, rather than encouraging repeat business, these folks are doing everything they can so that your 1st visit will almost certainly be your last, Complaints? Dirty, dated, broken and non-functioning EVERYTHING. And, when circumstances forced me to extend my miserable stay here... They charged me almost double what a 3rd party reseller was charging, after assuring me that they'd given me a "special" low discount rate. LOL. Yes, a special ripoff for the guest foolish enough to extend their stay at this sewer. Usually, if you book directly with the hotel, you realize some savings because they don't have to pay the 3rd party (hotels.com, TripAdvisor, Agoda, etc) but here? Nope. After they burned me for a few extra baht, and lied about it, when I asked for an explanation of the pricing, the fellow at the front figured he would solve the problem by just continuing to lie, including some nonsense about "credit card fees" which anyone who has traveled at all, knows these sites do not charge, and hoped I would go away. His wish was granted. Away I went, never to return.

  Enjoying our stay

  ice hotel in front of the beach of Lamai area! When we arrived, we were immediately taken to the room which was ready early. We had daily cleaning and linen change and the air conditioner was in constant operation, I can even mention the fact one day the air conditioner didn't work and until they fix the damage we moved to another room, so kind on behalf of the receptionist!! Rich buffet served in the breakfast room and also there is a cook in the kitchen who can order for example omelette at that moment. From the pool you can see the vast sea and the very tall palm trees for those who love the sea <3. Also for anyone who can't go a long way is the ideal distance from the hotel to the beach. I wish happy holidays to everybody!

  All you need is here!

  Very comfortable hotel! Breakfast is great! Hotel is not very big and nit so crowded, located at the beach, has a lovely pool and very clean and well cared garden. It is quite queiet there, so perfect for well earned vocation! Right outside of the hotel you need to go just a few steps and you are on the walking street of Lamai Beach. Everything you need is right there-food stores, ATMs, markets, travel agencies and a lot of bars, restaturants etc. So all you need is right there!

  Beauriful quiet resort on the beach close to walking street

  Pros: Breakfast was tasty and had different choices. The pool area and the garden were very clean and beautiful. Very good location. The best part was that the hotel is right on the beach. Walking street just a few minutes walk, like everything else you need. Overall good value for money. Cons: Bathroom could need a little refreshing, air conditioner should be more modern. Some of the staff seemed to be little stressed.

  Amazing stay

  We were at aloha resort by the Ganges , the service and the stay was amazing , with great service and a special thank you to Priyanka at the reception who went out of the way to upgrade our rooms and made us very confortable, the food and service is beyond compare
