  Modern Airport Hotel

  Rooms are modern with the TV allowing you to sign into personal online streaming services (Netflix,etc). Staff is very friendly. Rooms are average size and block most airport noise. Plenty to do around the hotel and very convenient to the airport with free transportation!

  Place is great other then the hour earlier then I had requested wake up call... I really could have used that hour. Also the place was full of dogs and I have allergies! It would have been nice to know but what do you expect from Marriott Bonvoy the worst credit card company in existence!!! The bartender was very nice.

  Noisy

  Much noisier than most airport hotels. Between the planes taking off and the elevated train that passes just outside the hotel, it is difficult to get a good night's sleep here. There are plenty of hotels near Sea-Tac that are in quieter locations. Otherwise, a pretty typical Aloft property. Upon check-in, I didn't understand why the clerk decided to make calls on behalf of a guest who wasn't present instead of clearing the line of people that was forming in front of her. I can't remember what the issue was with that guest, but I do remember that it was far from an emergency. Despite staying during COVID and the hotel being relatively empty, I was put in a room next to the elevator, which is a high traffic, noisy area in the sense of hallway noise. The room was clean although missing a chair. Bottled water was provided. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the airport. Parking was free although you have to put a pass in the window or incur an $80 fee. The hotel is quite close to the airport and there are numerous fast food places and gas stations nearby. The highway isn't far from the property. I like Aloft but would not stay at this location again. Too noisy.

  Great shuttle service and free dogs

  I greatly appreciated the shuttle service with the nice helpful driver. My room was on the small side but comfortable and had everything and I needed. The 2nd floor is reserved for people with dogs. I greatly appreciate that dogs stay for free. Only disappointment was no toaster in the breakfast area - unlike Aloft in Chicago. Due to COVID no additional amenities. I don't understand why hotels don't make that more clear on their websites. It seems a bit dishonest.

  Basic Comfort

  After a unusually long flight delay from Salt Lake City I found myself arriving home to Washington several hours later than originally scheduled. I tend to utilize public transportation to/from the airport in order to avoid parking fees and found myself not wanting to make the switch from the Light Rail to the bus at such a late hour. For that reason I decided to get a hotel with shuttle service and face all the rigors of public transportation (while wrangling multiple pieces of luggage) after a good night's sleep. I found Aloft online and booked my reservation. After calling the front desk a shuttle arrived within 25 minutes. Check-in went smoothly in a clean, brightly colored, and spacious lobby. The room was small but functional and clean. However, there wasn't a microwave in the room which required a trip to the lobby for heating food. The restaurant was closed due to Covid but they're was an area to purchase snacks. The choices were plentiful and varied. Complementary coffee was served each morning in the lobby. The staff was friendly and the facilities very clean. It was a bit loud at times during the night as sound traveled quite a bit in the hallways. However, the Light Rail tracks were right outside my window and I couldn't hear it. I slept well and would stay again.
