  Very nice!

  We stayed at the Aloft for a cheer competition! Ky, the front desk associate was nice and accommodating. Chris, the shuttle driver was also nice and very helpful. The rooms were clean and staff very social. Would definitely come back!!

  Close to Love Field

  Really great location given its proximity to Love Field. Clean rooms and very friendly staff. I liked the overall room design, especially the abundant lighting. I just wish theyd left me more bath linens. One towel is not enough for even an overnight stay.

  Not a pleasant stay

  This hotel seems to be fairly new and I think my friends thought it would be a nice place to stay. To begin with, there is a sign on the front door that says you must wear a mask. Thats fine, we knew that and were all wearing masks. Problem was, apparently it doesnt apply to staff? Neither of the two women working the counter for check in were wearing a mask. They didnt wear one at any time during our entire stay! Every time I saw one of them, no mask. We were not told there was a pool or gym and were not given any special rules to follow for Covid precautions. I saw several people outside around the pool, none wearing a mask. Where is management? I told the woman that when I made reservations, we were told breakfast was included. She said no. I had to find my confirmation to prove it to her. Im sorry they even mentioned breakfast, it ended up being a microwave jimmy dean sandwich and an orange in a bag. When we got to our room, it was very uninviting. Its very industrial and uncomfortable. The only thing I liked about this room was the bed. Pillows were too flat, the room is extremely dark and there are only 3 tiny lamps to light the entire room. No ceiling lights whatsoever and no floor lamp. There is only one rolling chair and a desk type tabletop by the window. No side table, no table at all and no comfy chair to lounge on. There was nothing in the room that gave instructions on how to use the tv remote. A know, a minor thing but EVERY other hotel I have ever stayed at has had instructions. And no, it was not easy to figure out or intuitive. We actually thought the tv or remote was broken. All in all, not really pleasant and Im sure I wont be back here. There are so many, better places to stay in the Dallas area.

  We stayed there this past Sunday. The location is great for those wanting to go to Dallas Love Field or UTSW. However, the rooms are less than optimal. For example, our bathroom sink had no way to empty it. The dirty water just stayed in the sinl. The stopper wasn't broken, it didn't exist. There was no WI-Fi. The lighting was poor for reading.. The hair dryer wouldn't fit in the plugs in the bathroom so it had to be used in the main room. On the TV, the available channels were listed as 42-4. How one punched that in with the standard remote wasn't explained. The worst part9 not the fault of the hotel) is that we seemed to have someone doing gymnastics in the room above. The thuds was continuous for 4 hours. There seemed to be little insulation between floors.

  Stay somewhere else.. anywhere else!

  Stayed two nights because it was close to the hospital where my wife was having surgery. The hotel is showing a lot of wear and not being maintained well. The outside appearance is much better than the interior. The hallways are gloomy and dark. Upon returning one evening I was overwhelmed by the marijuana smoke in hallways. No trash cans in hallways or by the elevators so food trash is just thrown onto the ground. Upon entering the room we were greeted by the overwhelming smell of strong Air freshener I mean nuclear/industrial air freshener. I mean what are they trying to cover up! First looked at A/C unit and observed months worth of dirt on the front fins. No need in thinking the rest of the room will be clean if this most obvious place is dirty. That is probably the reason the room is so dark with no available lighting. I inquired upon checking out why housekeeping had not made my room while I was gone all day. They informed me that they no longer cleaned occupied rooms due to COVID. Also upon checking in no one informed us about the parking situation. Evidently you must pay via an app to park which ends up being about 14 dollars for 15 hrs. We had a nice ticket attached to the windshield the morning I was trying to get my wife to the hospital. Ask the front desk why they did not inform us we needed to pay and were told that there were signs in elevator we could have read. Bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable and carpets were stained. Will not return.....
