  Hotel tranquilo. Un poco alejado de la zona céntrica. Las habitaciones están muy bien. Le doy está puntuación por la mala atención del recepcionista y por la comida, muy poca variedad. Si no fuera por eso le daría tres estrellas.

  Disgraceful

  Initially booked for 2weeks at this hotel. Left after one week and booked into another hotel. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. First two nights we had no light in our room. Informed reception of this and took them two days to change a light bulb. Four of us booked and only two chairs in room. Also informed reception of this, again, two days. Floors were filthy. Now, as for the food......WOW. Salad wilted and not chilled. No labels as what the food was. Food cold every single morning, lunch time and dinner. My wife complained of this to the manager in my absence and was abruptly told to f##k off. Not acceptable. We paid £2358.49 for this holiday and for that money we would expect at least to have attentive bar staff and a smile now and again. We had none of this. Absolute disgrace of a hotel Dont take my word for everything I have stated here. Come to Marmaris, book into the ALMENA HOTEL and have a crap time. Manager was a rude and obnoxious, threatening pig. No respect for women. My dad was with us as part of our party and he is disabled. We were on the 5th floor and therefore the lift was essential for my dad who needs oxygen therapy. Friday 13th the lift broke down(for 5 hours) and my dad was panicking. We kept getting told 10 mins. BE WARNED.

  AVOID AT ALL COST !

  ALMENA HOTEL This is an honest opinion of the Hotel but of course its only my opinion. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The hotel is very old and in poor condition. The bedrooms are so small and tight you have to move the bed to get onto the mini balcony (see pictures). The bathroom is disgusting and filthy. The food is of a very very poor standard.you will definitely end up eating out. The crockery is all chipped and all plates, cups glasses etc. are cleaned by hand so consequently never properly cleaned. It is hard to get milk for tea and only provide butter at breakfast and at no other time. Once the food has gone it is not replenishedso dont be late!!!..The bar is absolutely appalling no entertainment and the staff are less than helpful. It rained one day, we asked the barman if he could put up one of the large umbrellas his answer was a straight NO if Id had the handle Id of cranked it up myself !!! I only picked this Hotel as I was getting my teeth done and it was near to the dentist.NEVER EVER AGAIN..dont get disappointed on your holidayjust DONT book this Hotel. If any staff from the Almena read this feedback take note..generally English people like milk with their tea generally English people like butter on their bread.not just at breakfast!!!!!

  DISATER! Firstly this happened: The cleaner broke the balcony door while we were out. It took 1.5 hours at 6:30 pm , our baby had no where to sleep because 2 men were trying to fix the door. We asked please can we have another room for the baby to sleep. They refused , again we asked how long and they told us you can leave . My baby finally went to bed 2 hours later. The front desk was extremely rude to us!! We arrived with a baby , we previously called to check how busy and if we could reserve a quite room on a low floor. They gave a a room at the front on the main road which is extremely noisy. The room has 3 single beds , even though we are a married couple with a baby. They gave a baby bed which was extremly dangerous and made of metal , it was like a childrens hospital bed from the 1950s!! The baby couldnt sleep in it. The electric kept going every few hours and the fridge wouldnt work , so the baby food went off.

  Over charged my card by 1000 lira, for the love of God never ever stay at this place, no good will come from your holidays, if you can't afford to upgrade stay at home marmaris is a beautiful place but people have left holiday makers disgruntled
