  A wonderful two days

  This is a working farm with all the smells and noise you would expect. Sharon the host was so welcoming and we had many chats about farming life. We saw the cattle milked and the calves fed and the two working dogs were the highlight for my granddaughter who didnt want to leave. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the fried breakfast was so big and yummy with lots of healthier choices. Yes there will be a waft of manure, yes there may be cows and calves mooing and the sound of the milking machines and the dogs may bark occasionaly but thats what youre there for surely! I cant understand anyone saying that these are reasons they wouldnt go again!! Take your young children, they will fall in love with it. I will definitely visit next year

  A haven of tranquility

  This place epitomises everything good about a farmhouse B and B: a warm welcome without being too overt, a comfortable farmhouse bedroom, peace and gorgeous pastoral views. We enjoyed our stay enormously and appreciated the advice and help in finding a place for a very good evening meal. Breakfast was very good: a delicious fruit bowl and tasty cheeses (am I asking too much for some decent crusty bread?) Just one tiny complaint the fried bacon was undercooked and didnt taste so good - we would have preferred it grilled? All in all though a lovely place to stay on the final night of a brilliant welsh holiday!

  Unique Location

  A comfortable place in a unique location. Not only is it an active dairy farm but it's also located on Merlin's Hill, the location thought to be the birth place of Merlin (Knights of the round table, Arthur, Stargate Merlin...) Very cool. It's less than ten minutes from town but you feel like you're miles away from anywhere. Our room was a bit small for our larger suit cases but there's several rooms to choose from. The hosts are nice and professional. It's a nice clean place.

  Highly recommended

  We have just spent 2 nights in the superior room and it was as it showed in the picture, lovely. Sharon greeted us when we arrived and looked after our every need. Very peaceful considering it was a working farm. Will definitely be back when in area.

  Enjoyable stay

  Stayed there for 2 nights on business. Wonderful place to stay quiet and peaceful. Full Welsh Breakfast. Make sure you follow their instructions for location. Very good value for money. Fully recommended. A very good place that is safe and follows current pandemic rules.
