  Extremely disappointed

  We used to stay at this motel all the time years ago. I was absolutely disgusted. When we returned to our room this morning housekeeping had been in the room. they had made a half assed attempt at making the queen bed and didn't do anything to the single bed my son had slept in. They moved personal belongings that were on the bench but hadn't wiped the bench down. And nothing had been topped up (sugar tea and coffee oh and toilet paper). I was willing to put up with her rudeness when we booked in as it had been along day. But to have my privacy invaded and my belongings and medications gone through. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever

  looks better on website than it actually is.

  My car park was taken even though numbered. When I arrived there were only a couple of cars parked. I j just needed to book in as I was going out as soon as I had done that, so I just parked in the nearest car space only to be told quite sternly that I was in the wrong space and that spaces were numbered same as the rooms. I returned 3 hours later to find my space was taken . The young man who had booked me in was nearby so I indicted to him that my space was taken. He gave a gentle knock on the door next door , getting no response he shrugged and went on his way. Next morning I went to the free breakfast. The urn was not turned on so no hot water for cuppa. Told young man who switched it on and then proceeded to make me a cup of tea despite my saying no I will get it later. Then OMG he put his thumb in the cup of tea to test if was hot. A few minutes later he again insisted on making a cup for me but it was lukewarm. Anyway I did not drink it. So much for hygiene. The young man seemed to be out of his depth and more interested in his computer. On the bright side, the room was clean, good tv, and very basic. I will not be staying there again.

  Stay away from this place!!!!

  Those who read my reviews have always known me to 'try' and say positive things about restaurants, motel/hotels, airlines, etc. I think in all the time I have been doing TripAdvisor I have only given one bad review, however this particular motel in Toowoomba , Queensland takes the biscuit. My business associate and I had been travelling from N.S.W dealing with funeral arraignments when we pulled into downtown Toowoomba for a nights sleep. We had checked in at 21:23 (Exact). We got to the room and found 3 beds. Ok so far so good. But then it all went pear shape. The bathroom was appalling. Not a bar of soap to be seen in the room,soap holder was smashed, liquid shower soap dispenser fell off wall and onto shower floor, only a few sheets of loo paper left on top of the toilet as no toilet roll holder provided, the bed (mine anyway) sagged on the side where people obviously had previously sat causing the mattress to sag making you feel you could roll out of bed during the night. I had to prop that side of the sagging mattress up with extra towels we had brought. We contacted the owner (?) who was very aggressive, defensive and abusive to our simple questions or requests. All she kept saying over and over was,' But you had a comfortable bed, right?' And on check out we were accused of using two beds!! Yes we used two beds. We are two blokes. Did you expect us to sleep together? Do you charge guests per bed used? We have since tried to reason with this person but to no avail. She is right and everyone else in the world is wrong. This person should NOT be in the motel industry as she knows absolutely nothing about customer service!!Period!! P.S The sign along road way says,'free continental B'fast'. But we were told no B'fast due to the corona virus. But the sign (according to reception staff) had been up for months during the corona virus and still NOT taken down.. For god sake, take your sign down as it is false advertising! When we mentioned this we were accused of being aggressive. Go figure.

  Very noisy

  Other guests were very disrespectful with regard to noise. Management were aware and did not address this. Also, no bath matt or hand towel. Totally taken over by another group of guests which was very disappointing.

  Excellent Service

  We booked many rooms for a sporting tournament and the service was excellent, check in and out was easy and location is great. The breakfast is great pancake machine a huge hit. Will definitely rebook if we have more tournaments in Toowoomba.
