  Decent room at a good price..

  Last minute booking, this place had a good price and was ok for us for a night.. A few rooms with a few shared bathrooms, no frills otherwise. Wifi worked. Quiet. Close to train/bus station. Not fancy but not bad either.

  DIFFICULT TO FIND and not worth the trouble

  The accommodation was shown as convenient to the Train Station - which it is. However I walked past the front door four times before I asked the clerk in a nearby hotel to pinpoint its location. It took me three additional times walking past and examining every push button to find the one for the accommodation - what a nightmare after ten hours travelling In its favour I must say that there is a small sign (which is unlit) attached to the building but the street is so dark it can't be seen see after dark. I rang the bell and could hear the latch open but the door was heavy the latch closed so I waited for a further few minutes until the latch operated again. The owner couldn't be bothered to walk down to let me in. Once inside the atrium which has a very old lift which I didn't know how to operate I climbed the stairs until I found the accommodation - and eventually wished I hadn't. Mine host was ungracious, demanded the city tax in cash, and proceeded to use the machine on the counter to print out the receipt for the money I had paid to a booking site. He then took forever to tell an exceptionally tired travelled the rules and regulations and eventually took me to my room - with one double and one single bed, pointing out that mine was the single I had paid for. The room was large and clean but the bedding and towels smelt stale (I discovered the reason the next morning since, on departure I noticed that washing was drying indoors behind big curtains on the atrium landing).

  Excelent location

  I was there for buissines trip, and for sexond time stayed there. Location excellent and quiet place for rest. Clean rooms and nice personel! Recommendation for everybody. Good location for shopping and train station.

  Excellent for value

  Location is near to all main squares in old part of town. Building where the room is is amazing. Room is spatious and clean. Pleasant experience with owner. Recomended for people who want to get know Trieste.

  Excellent Service and very clean facility 10 out of 10. Location is excellent, you are in the middle of action. Staff are very respectful and knowledgeable. I would commend it to anyone visiting Trieste, impianto top di gamma. Saluti
