Good Place to StayWe rented a newly renovated unit on the 2nd floor. The unit itself was decorated very nicely. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit was spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately the building is not well insulated and you could hear every step, chairs sliding in and out and sometimes voices from mostly the unit above. I always thought wood floors were a strange choice for a ski place. So, my recommendation is to rent a top level unit on the 3rd floor to avoid this very annoying feature. Because the insulation was so poor you could feel drafts on very windy days and it was difficult to get the temperature comfortably regulated. The living area would be cold and the bedrooms to hot. The bus stop is immediately out the front door of the building. It is very convenient getting to the base for skiing because busses pass every few minutes. Getting back is not so easy. The bus doesn't stop directly across the street. You have to make sure to get a bus that turns right on Park Avenue and the stop is about a block way. When it snowing and you have to cross a busy intersection this is not ideal. Another longer option is to take the bus around to the Main Street transportation center and get off at the stop in front of the building. You can ski down to Town Lift and catch bus there to get dropped off again in front of building. You can also walk back from base. Or you can drive and park at the base. There is a learning curve at the end of the day. The wait for the correct bus was often 20 minutes or so. Some of the options getting back just did not work for me because I am lazy and prefer not to be inconvenienced. You can leave your skis at overnight valet at base for $7/night. Large hot tub was nice, but they leave it covered with a solar cover and the straps to connect it to the reel were missing so you can't roll it. I stayed at this unit in January and again in March so it never was fixed. You can replace those straps for a very minimal charge...I have the same cover at home and they do wear out. It's very inexpensive to replace. No one seemed to be working there to open and close this pool/tub. Underground parking was great and never an issue finding a spot. Ski locker room was convenient to put on boots. Ski boots aren't allowed in units. This is a reasonable priced option in a decent location. I prefer a bit more ski in and out for convenience. The bus system is generally ok, but not perfect. I might consider the building again, but only a top floor unit because I'm sensitive to the noise.

Close to liftsCondo was in a great location. 15 minute walk to old town. 5 minute walk to lifts. The condo was just the right size for my family of four. Nice heated pool/hot tub , available all year long. Had storage lockers for skis.

SLOPESIDE "VINTAGE" CONDO #8How terrible can this be ? The Condo was so impressive in the brochure but after we got there, they failed to tell us that it is 2 flights downstairs (no elevator) with 4 adults over 72 yrs old. The brochure advertised A/C. No there was none ! It remained high 70's until after midnight, we eventually found floor fans in closets ! the mattress in 2nd bedroom were horrible ! no kitchen soap, floors were not cleaned, had to stand on furniture to close drapes to keep out hot sun during day, towels were hard, what a waste of money here when we could have stayed dozens of other places. Do not Rent this Condo. I called the property Mgr. 3 times NO RESPONSE......

Perfect for 2My Wife and I stayed here early January and had a great time. Back again on the 24th. Check in was so easy a child could do it. We stayed in a studio with a Murphy bed, it worked but not what we are used to. John at the front desk told me to book the deluxe 1 bedroom and we would not be disappointed. He was so right, so much space for my wife and I, our son was staying down the road with friends, had enough room to entertain happy hour. Ski in ski out, perfect, hot tub, awesome, even had a heated concrete deck when you get out. Oh, John called and told us our room was ready early. Call John ahead of time and let him know what your needing, he will do his best to help. Cant say enough about how he really made our trip easy. We are coming back In February. Make sure you ask for a remodeled room.
