Lovely placeStayed here for a few nights and it was very nice. The rooms are very traditional Greek - basic, white, dark furniture. Nothing fancy but very clean and everything you need provided. Family run business and very helpful staff. Pool area is really good with swim up bar. Noise minimal even though its set back a bit on a road. Didnt eat here but spoke to a couple of people who said food was good. Great little taverna within walking distance - Rosemary- and supermarket a few doors away for essentials. Shuttle bus to main resort was an added advantage. All in all a very pleasant stay and would return as I believe many people do year after year.

Amazing AlkistisAlkistis is one of the best hotels I've ever visited. And I've visited many! It's difficult to explain why it's so superb. I mean the rooms are spacious, tidy and lovely, but not exceptional. It's the unique, relaxed atmosphere that makes Alkistis so special! We felt like we are staying at a friends' / relatives' (you know the nice types) villa, where we are free to take it easy and enjoy. Alkistis is family owned and it shows in a very good way. Family members also hang around there at times, always smiling and friendly. Our room had all the basics for a good self-catering holiday. We loved that the look&feel was very old school greek - white linen, dark wood furniture, simple deco. AC in both rooms, and it worked super well. Nice balcony with a cute view to the surrounding olive trees and fields. Pool is amazing. Pool bar too, I recommend especially the drink called Alkistis. Their restaurant offers breakfast and lunch, in August apparently also dinner (we stayed in July). We had our own breakfast at our room, but ate several good lunches there. Good supermarket just around the corner. And very handy taxi service from Alkistis to Skopelos old town several times a day. Effaristo! Thank you! Kiitos!

The Place To BeWe have been coming to Skopelos for 25 years now and simply LOVE this hotel. The rooms are spacious, very clean and with a authentic Greek charm. The pool area is the best on the island and when you add the friendly and extremely helpfull staff you are in for a real treat. The hotels restaurant is (if you ask me) well worth visiting, even if you are not staying at the hotel. Our age group strech from 3 years until 75, so this hotel suits everyone. The only bad thing coming here is that you will prefer this hotel and this island over any other Greek place. ENJOY!

Wonderful AlkistisThis is the second time we are reviewing this delightful hotel which we have visited many times over the years and which we love to the extent it almost feels like home. The accommodation is arranged in well-appointed, self-catering apartments set in a beautiful garden with an enormous pool. For those who don't wish to cook, there is a delicious buffet breakfast and other tasty meals, as well as bar snacks and drinks. The staff at Alkistis are always friendly and helpful. A mini-bus takes guests into nearby Skopelos town several times a day. Outside there is also a public bus stop - the bus travelling to the various beaches on the island. There is a good supermarket just round the corner from Alkistis. Skopelos Town is delightful with its attractive harbour and picturesque old town full of great restaurants to suit all tastes. Although we now travel as a couple, our now adult sons have also visited Alkistis and Skopelos which they love, all of which makes the hotel equally good for families. Ros and Michael

Perfect stayAlkistis apartments in Skopelos, a wonderful stay. Friendly staff and great service. Free shuttle bus to Skopelos town, large pool with plenty of beds. Its small complex with friendly atmosphere and relaxed. If we would have known our return trip would have been to Alkistis again as part of our island hopping adventure. Two room apartments which is a pleasure with a family of 5, one apartment for us, one for the kids, in two rooms
