  Rest Stop

  I booked this as a simple in transit spot to lay our heads prior to hopping a puddle jumper to Krabi the next day. With that being said, I specifically booked it based on the proximity to BKK airport. The look and quality of the property doesn't match the area. It's a fairly new property, so it has a quiet/clean feel to it; however, the surrounding neighborhood is within the slums. They offer an efficient airport shuttle. The staff is very pleasant. Overall, it was just right for the night, but I wouldn't recommend it as an extended stay.

  Hands On experience...My hands not theirs

  Start with the positive: The room was nice, large and quiet. However, it is not being well maintained. Apparently the telephone didn't work and there were no numbers for the hotel service. The wifi was also not good. But the main problem for me was the lack of care at the front desk. I specifically booked this hotel because of the shuttle service. I took measures (twice) to book the shuttle service in the 'special request' form, but no one came to the airport. Not what you need after 24 hours of traveling. When I got there I told them at the front desk, they checked, and saw I was not lying. It cost about 350 Baht to get from the airport to the taxi and at no point was a reimbursement offered, I said nothing. The next day I asked if they could find me a taxi for my onward journey, I had to come down twice to ask about it to which I was answered "We called your room so may times." So either I'm deaf or the telephone is broken. In any case, If I didn't answer, then maybe they should have got off their chair and knocked on my door. The elevator does work! Anyway, I then asked to be taken five minutes down the road to Bang Na crossroads to get a minivan, which they did, but just dropped me off with all my bags without checking so I ended up on the slow bus. The restaurant was well overpriced and not particularly good. Breakfast was very average. I would say that in general this hotel has been well thought out and it has potential, my room was nice, but it is not being run or managed by conscientious staff. Good service is key...and I'm afraid I found that aspect disappointing and annoying. I've stayed in places a lot cheaper than this but been given a far superior service. For the price, and what was offered I give it a below average score.

  On the outskirts

  Room standard was average. It's also located too far from the most interesting places in Bangkok. Service is above average, but we had some difficulties communicating with the staff in English. This was sometimes quite hilarious, as when we asked for a scale for our luggage.

  Silent place

  Rooms of Alisha Court Hotel & Residence nicely decorates including drawing, kitchen facility with balcony. I love it. Location nearby VIP area. Good food & good stuff. It's little bit far from the entertainment places in Sukhumvite

  Disgusting Service

  I rented one of the upper floor rooms from the owner by the name of Widaya. I paid her the money in advance. Upon checking-out the room, I was scolded and beaten by the Alisha court security guards who have taken orders from the owner Widaya. The owner threatened to report me to the police and extorted the sum of THB5000 from me. Reasons being I did not clean up the room. This is extremely ironic.
