  El mejor de Alice Springs

  Calidad precio! 100 dolares la noche. 19 el desayuno. Está a unos 2 km del centro, muy tranquilo, cosa que agradecimos, porque el pueblo tiene mucha gente. Es un chollo en la zona. Las habitaciones muy bien, limpio, el baño parece el de un camarote de barco, pero bien. Parking grande y gratuito, wifi gratis aunque en las habitaciones falla bastante. Muy agradables. Esta al lado de la carretera principal que va hacia el aeropuerto o hacia Alice, cruzando el rio seco que hay.

  Great location and Comfortable

  Stayed at this hotel after a number of nights roughing it, it seemed like luxury . Rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable although the bathrooms were a bit tired. Location was great, as far enough away from the centre to be quiet but close enough for ease of access Security was good too with off street parking for vans and trailers too

  The manager needs training in hospitality

  Our room had a dirty bathroom, stains on the carpet, missing light globes, too few towels, filthy mirrors, both curtains falling off their rails and it smelled of sewerage. We let the manager know but she didn't believe us and said she would send someone who she could trust to take a look sometime later that day. Her reaction to an unsatisfied guest was to try to argue with them. Between the cleaner and ourselves, we eventually got the room more habitable. A few days later, some other guests partied outside their room until 4:45am with loud music and drinking. When we approached the same manager about this, she said that it was not her problem. She said that those guests are managed by a different company, and that we should call them ourselves, or call the police ourselves. The manager needs training in hospitality.

  Overpriced and inadequate accommodation

  This property is way overpriced. It is very outdated, the room interiors are really outdated especially the bathroom. There were stains in the carpet, the room phone didn't work and it had a very small TV in the room. You can't fill the jug with water to have a cup of tea, the jug won't fit under the tap. Toilet paper was cheap and nasty. The fridge was wobbly and didn't have any cold water in it. The only nice thing about our room was that it had nice views over the pool area, which looked quite nice. There was no restaurant, we had to order in a pizza from outside. The two girls on the front desk at check-in really couldn't help with any of our questions, it was if they were backpackers picking up a few days work.

  Is it Possible to Give Zero Stars Please? I feel sorry for the owners. Do they know how bad it is?

  Yikes. A hard-plastic shower insert thing in the corner of the room was not a good start - reminded me of staying in a crappy over-priced donga when crossing the Nullarbor. Felt like a cheap mattress in a cheap bed. Sigh. Warnings of car break-ins and it felt creepy and unsafe to be locked out of my room by the key card not working FOUR times and then shouted at by the older woman receptionist whos rudeness is legendary, apparently. I was in a hurry to get to a work meeting. Did she care? Nup. Couldnt care less. Shoved paper at me when I asked for a few sheets to write some notes in. Said there wast any. Reeaally?? I had to suggest copy paper as she didnt. It was a really awful experience. At night, when i FINALLY got through to the after hours number I was told I couldnt have been phoning long as they had only just closed the office! At a conference the next day I heard another person complaining about the same lack of service (she was locked out of her room too), so I didnt imagine it, believe me. I feel sorry for the owners of this place. and sorry for me who stayed there.
