  No era lo que esperaba

  Acabamos de volver de una estancia de una semana en el Hotel Alia Palace y, a decir verdad, nos decepcionaron un poco unas cuantas cosas. El nivel de las habitaciones, la humedad del baño que traspasaba hasta el armario ropero, dando mal olor a la ropa. No había alfonbrilla en el baño y como la ducha estaba mal situada, era muy peligroso. No había servicio de café ni de té en la habitación, con lo cual las vacaciones encarecieron; el hotel está clasificado como un 5 estrellas así que me esperaría esto como algo estándar. Dos cafés y dos granizados a 11 euros un par de veces al día va sumando. La ubicación del hotel no es buena para gente con problemas de movilidad, el sendero es empinado y resbaladizo. Si pierdes el último autobús al hotel a las 10 tienes que subir una cuesta de 1 km y medio de longitud, da miedo, sólo alguien muy valiente lo haría por la noche. En general, el hotel me pareció demasiado caro.

  Thoroughly recommended! Fabulous views

  Stayed here all inclusive in 2 standard doubles with balcony and sea views, travelled with family 21-25th October, weather was superb hot and sunny each day. Flew with EasyJet no delays everything went smoothly, masks worn until we arrived at the hotel and random testing for covid at the airport. The hotel is about an hour and a half from the airport, scenic journey on good roads, we arranged a transfer when we booked. On arrival we had our temperatures taken and were briefed on covid- we didnt have to wear masks around the hotel but all the staff did. I saw some reviews regarding the rooms not being cleaned- you can have your room serviced whenever you wish on request but due to covid govt guidelines this is no longer routine. Personally, I like this, no maid popping in every day to rearrange your sheets ! the beds were really comfy as were the pillows. Quilts were on all the beds too which was just right. Restaurant tables and poolside sun beds all allowed for good 2m distancing and it was so beautiful we ate outside for all but one meal. There are 3 pools, the main one was cold but the other 2 were warm. Fabulous views looking out to sea and the surrounding countryside. 5 min walk down quite a steep path to the shops bars and the beach. there is a hotel minibus to drop off and pick up too but I walked it both ways easily. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, again due to covid things are a little different- in the restaurant all food is served for you (no help yourself) with a sample of each item on display to help you choose, drinks with meals are brought to the table for you. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The hotel even has its own organic garden, there were peppers tomatoes and potatoes growing at the moment. Everything was spotlessly clean in every part of the hotel. We hired bikes from the main centre for 5 a day and cycled along the flat easy coastal paths and roads.

  Our stay at alia palace

  We have just come back from a week stay at alia palace and it was a lovely holiday but there a few things that I have had to pick up on. with arriving at alia palace it looked lovely, very quiet and so clean. However nothing was really explained properly, we was all inclusive but never got told we could only have 2 out of the 12 options of snacks from the snack bar, or told where we could get sweet snacks from. They also don't really tell you what drinks are included like orange juice not being included but it is at breakfast, they didn't tell you that all inclusive drinks stop at 11pm and don't start till 10am. The gym was basic but that's because you don't really go for the gym. All the staff were lovely and friendly however at the pool they're was only one waitress who you could tell was struggling to handle all of the people, the food staff would hardly ask for a second drink, only if it was quiet. The food was good however it could of done to have more choice or different themed nights. We also didn't get told how to access the Al a carte restaurant. The room was nice and clean all the time, spacious and the pools were great, overall we had a great time but these little things are the things that would bring it to a proper 5 star.

  Breathtakingly Beautiful & Amazing staff

  Firstly I want to say if your really considering booking this place but the reviews are putting you off, then my advice is ignore the miserable reviews (except those with real genuine concerns) and book right now. I promise you, you won't feel dissapointed in fact you will be in a world of total bliss. I went with half board as I don't drink and wanted to try the local resturants, as I like doing that to get a feel of the traditional dishes and the place I'm staying. Let me start of by saying the pics do not do the hotel ant justice because everything is insanely amazing in its own right. Food was lush and it was quality, you had so many options and they would heap your plate with whatever you fancied, after the first day I decided to kindly tell them to put a small spoon or portion of what I wanted to try. Plenty of fresh food, salad, desserts and drinks to choose from (if your half board you would have to pay for the drinks). Desserts were omg to die for the baklavas and cakes were sooo yummy. In terms of covid then we had an option of wearing our masks but we were told it's our choice, all staff had thiers on regardless of the work and heat which was nice to see for your own safety etc. Cleaneanis of the hotel was 100/100 everything was spotless, room was spacious plenty of space, I had a standard room with sea view and it was a dream room in all honesty. View from the balcony was Incredible, I read that the beds are hard etc I get it because the first night wasn't the most comfortable but believe me when I tell you this they are not bad at all, comfort level was 7/10 but I told reception the following morning and they advised me they will put a bed topper to help, that following night I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, the pillows were so comfy and fluffy at times I felt like staying in bed lol but I'm too adventurous for all that. Bathroom was nice with all the amenities and they was luxury products, the shower head could have been a bit bigger but to be honest it wasn't a big deal. My room got cleaned everyday and the cleaner would fold my clothes so cutely. I have to highlight this because I have read so many bad reviews about the staff IT'S SIMPLY NOT TRUE!! Ive travlled to many places but the hotel staff are one of the most hard work v and kindest bunch you will ever meet. They will do anything to make your stay all that more special and will make it stress free as much as they can. From the cleaners to the rexeptionist, the concierge to the bar staff work extra hard to make sure your having the best holiday ever. Even though it was a huge beautiful hotel and thier was quite lot of guests they still managed to accommodate by exceeding in thier customer service. I've noted some people leaving a review are just being miserable saying things like I would rather stay home. Excuse me?? It is nothing like staying at home it's a world of a difference. I would encourage anyone double thinking to book this holiday if that's what you would like, because I too was about to fall for these stupid reviews. This is the reason why I decided to leave a review because I want to share my honest experience. Krystal, Katrina, Anna & George not forgetting Angelo thank you for such a beautiful & memorable holiday experience. Your hospitality was 10/10 and the best customer service I have experienced in my life. I hope to visit again sometime in the near future

  Friendly staff and amazing view

  I visited 2 weeks ago Alia palace hotel and I could not recommend it enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our suite was extremely clean and it has a private pool. I really enjoyed the view in the pool bar.
