  Good alternative to avoid crowd from Thessaloniki

  Hotel Alexandros is a good alternative for 1 night of accommodation if you preffer to avoid Thessaloniki. The hotel is situated along the road that connect Thessaloniki and Edessa, in an industrial area (or something like that) - is nothing to do around. But, It`s quite simple to find it if you come from Thessaloniki - are few signs with Alexandros before the hotel and also has a very big parking (free of charge). The staff was kind. About breakfast - I don`t remember (I was there few month ago)- probably it was a normal one

  A useful place to stay outside Thessaloniki

  Good service from an English-speaking receptionist who was very helpful when the power fused in my first room. All was fine in the second. She was also very helpful in recommending a restaurant nearby in Sindos. The hotel is not easy to find as the sign on the main rod towards Edessa is small and you come across the narrow turning suddenly. Look for the Perinthos hotel nearer the road which has a much larger sign. Breakfast was standard but quite adequate

  Very good transit hotel

  As mentioned in the title, this is a very good transit hotel: close enough to the city, but not having the city problems, like noise or missing parking places. The rooms are nice and big enough. The breakfast is also good. One might consider it also when visiting Thessaloniki, as Anchialos is only 12 km away (of course if one has a car).

  Good value for money

  Perfect for transit hotel, very close to the highway. Not far from Salonic if traveling by car also. Big spacious rooms and bathroom, big comfy beds, everything was functional. Good and various breakfast also. Very attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommend it if looking for a place to stop for the night.

  Average hotel outside of Thessaloniki

  Hotel Alexandros is located in a small town 12 km out of city center which has a dark and quiet environment at night. So it may not be ideal for travelers who would like to enjoy the city day & night. The rooms we stayed were not in the main building, but generally the rooms were clean and furnished properly. The breakfast was sufficient but not exciting. I think this hotel may be more suitable for transit travelers who pass through Thessaloniki by car, or some travelers who may want to stay in a calm and quiet enviornment away from the city.
