  Weekend away

  Came here by chance. Originally booked in the clifton when we got there it was closed only a few doors down still on the sea front. So glad we dropped on here. Very reasonably priced. When we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised, it was spotless it had everything a fridge and a tiny kitchenette with everything you needed. The bathroom was spotless. The building was a little dated but the warm welcome of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms more than compansated for that. The bed was so comfortable. They do full English breakfasts. They only had 1 double room for one night and the other night we had to slum it in a single room. Again spotless and homely. The lovely lady even threw in a free breakfast for our anniversary. You can tell all the staff are happy in their work and that shines out. Would defo come back because ur not just a number you are a person and in this day and age it's hard to find.   Southport overnighter

  A lovely well positioned traditional English seaside hotel,very close to local bars,pubs etc. A lovely friendly welcome from the young man on reception awaited us on a very blustery day in Southport. We stayed in room 3 which has a four poster bed and kitchenette , loved the room. Very well thought out! Didn't take breakfast but there's a 24 hour McDonalds Very close. I'd recommend no problems

  Nice hotel in good location but a little tired

  We booked this as a last minute thing as another hotel had let us down we had a single room and a double for £140 which you could'nt grumble at. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, our room was over the entry to the hotel so it was a bit noisy with the window open luckily the weather was horrible so it was'nt too hot. If we had to have the window open it would have not been great. Its in a good position opposite the bridge that goes over the river down to the sea. The only down point was the shower which would'nt stay in the holder and when my partner tried to sort it the whole rail came off the wall. Was a shame as that was only thing that marred our stay. Still we were only there for one night so not terrible in the grand scheme of things.

  Good budget hotel

  What can I say I have been here a few times and I have been pleased with it by the beach chilled clean rooms and thought out breakfast and friendly reception staff they make you feel like its your home by handling the keys and I like the pictures on walls welcoming coming inside the hotel it is aged but I think it adds to the feel of the place

  Perfect location

  Really enjoyed our three nights here. It was clean and tidy. Staff were very nice and helpful. Supplied us with plenty of tea and coffee plus toilet rolls the hotel was perfect for us and great value for money. Located on the pomade only a short walk into the centre of town
