  Just for sleep over

  it's very basic accommodation, one room with medium size bed and small kitchen area & small fridge. And than there's bathroom: we used only the toilet because shower is broken and really bad equipped - good thing is that you can use shower outside. Lot's of mosquitos and loud old fridge sounds at night - so be prepared. Air conditioning is extra payable for 5 per day. Good thing is location, nearby beach Makris Giants and also market - one street above.

  Terrible, not recommend to anyone!!

  I don t know where to even start. Dishes in the kitchen are greasy and the stove is taking approximately 15min to make coffee for two. Beds are so old and uncomfortable that sleeping was more tiredness than resting. And as for the bathroom, the shower is broken it has no curtain so if you manage to take a bath everything was flooded because the sink is apparently clogged. Now the most unpleasant thing was the owner/cleaning lady which didn't t speak English and when I asked (nicely) after 4 days to change our towels she said tomorrow. But as I showed her that our towels are full of ants she just turns and left. That same day she also did not clean our apartment (by cleaning I mean wiping the bathroom floor and taking out the garbage ). We complained to the agency (KCG) about it and they said that is the policy of the apartments and that they can not do anything. They took the whole amount of money and it is non-refundable no matter what. I will not recommend this to anyone. If you are not sure wheater I am just pissed off just look reviews on booking.com Unfortunately I couldn't t wrote there as I didn't t booked it through them.

  Very low standard unmanaged accomodation in a superb location

  Very low quality overpriced studios in an excellent location, on the same road as several very high standard hotels. DO NOT GO. Look for a nearby alternative. - - - - - 1) POSITIVE ASPECTS 1.1) Excellent location - The studios are located in Lassi, within a short walking distance to sandy beaches, tavernas, pool bars, Pefanis car hire and mini markets. - The area is a short bus or taxi ride from the airport and Argostoli so an excellent place to use as a base for your holiday, especially if you have young children. - The studios encourage you to use Mariannes pool as the owner is a family member. There are actually several pool bars in the area, Silo pool the closest, about 50m on the right from the studio entrance. Pools are open to the general public as long as you buy a drink or eat there (usually cheaper than tavernas). 1.2) Facilities - Safety deposit box - Washing lines and pegs available outside to dry your clothes - Free air conditioning - Free WIFI although it only works in the back of the yard (it fails to connect in the first block of apartments close to the entrance). - Basic cleaning done on some days (you come back to find the bathroom floor has been cleaned and towels / top bed sheet have been folded) 2) NEGATIVE ASPECTS 2.1) The studios are unmanaged - There is no reception area. When you arrive there is nobody there to greet you. You'll spend some time searching for someone until you realize you need to phone the number on the booking confirmation.They will tell you which studio number you are in and you will find the key outside the door. - No interaction with management. All instructions can be found on 3 pieces of paper pinned behind the door. This is unmanaged DIY accomodation although one guest told me if you need to speak to someone there is an agency operating in office hours about a mile away. 2.2) The studios are small, basic and are similar to a barn -The outside of the studios are not as bad as the inside. - When we walked in to our studio (n.2) we were immediately shocked at how basic and small it was. The yellow walls were rough and jagged just like the rustic walls on the outside. The roof was wooden and shaped like the letter V upside down. The bathroom is small without a shower curtain so when you wash you get sandy water everywhere (see photos below). - Our bed was an "outsize" single bed, half-way between a normal-sized single bed and a double bed and very unconfortable to sleep in. - The furnature is old. It's worse than student accomodation or a cheap hostel. It reminded me of a shed I slept in for £1 when I backpacked in India, but the shed was actually better because the bed had a mosquito net. 2.3) Overpriced - Despite being in a great area this place is operpriced. - We payed 68 per night to stay at the end of August. - All guests that arrived only booking just the first night or two moved out to much better places in the same road paying less! I was gutted because I'd payed the full amount by credit card and could not leave. I couldn't wait to go. 2.4) Animals - There is a very bad mosquito problem which will keep you awake at night - There are aunts on the terrace and a wasp nest on the roof. If you eat outdoors they will bother you. - Other guests were also complaining of rats, lizards and scorpions in their rooms although luckily this did not happen to us. 2.5) Poor cooking facilities - You cannot store food and drinks in the fridge for more than a day as they go off (not sure if the fridge is always on or activated like the light when your key is in the electricity slot behind the door). - The electrical cooking stove provided is worse than the cheapest camp equivalent. It takes ages to heat up and switches off if it overheats. - Cooking utensils are very limited.

  Unexceptionable!

  Where to start don't no how tour operators are still putting this forward as a holiday destination! Dirty rooms stained sheets we had to get 2 cockroaches out the room are toilet leaked so they just turned are water off till it was fixed! Then a few days later the hot water goes of and now with no hot water for 4 days even after complaining to the office! The owner is very arrogant and understands no English and she just walks away when u asking her to fix problems. Her husband turns up in the middle of the night with another person walking around outside with a torch and talking loudly at 2 in the morning wich is very strange!this is very run down with poor facilities no shower curtain so u flood the place as the drainage is so poor and blocked up so when u been out for the day u come back and your room smells of sewage. Just please avoid I'm trying to get my money back as had to shower at another apartment near to us!!!!

  Terribile place

  Our fifth year in lassi and we love it here and stayed in different nice places apart from this one ! I dont know where to start but people need to know before booking here ! First of all it has no reception when you arrive a key will be left in the door and after a bit of search you will see a piece of paper on wall outside with your name on it and where your studio is ! No tv /no pool /no bar /but that is not the end of the world I guess ! no WiFi only when the owners decide to switch it on and in two weeks we had it only few days ! No hot water and regular yellow stains marks on sheets. Cockroaches in room to which we had to get rid of ourselves because there is nobody there that you can approach if you need anything The owner Maria and another woman clean rooms but they turn up at nine in the morning and talk so loud and every morning before they start they kept smoking below our apartment window ( studio 3) and wasnt just one cigarette to which made our room smell 24/7. The owner is not friendly and even though her English is zero she doesnt crack a smile and clearly hates her guests! I tried talking to her but she didnt want any of it A few times we had to approach the owner Maria and her husband ( he is just as bad ) as we had toilet leaking water from the top and was sprinkling water everywhere! We had no hot water for four days and complained a few times only to be asked if we know the difference between the hot and cold tap!! Cold shower for four days !!!! Ouch ! We had no WiFi for a week We had regular dirty sheets For all this issues we had to call the office number that is placed behind the door and the woman on the phone in the office speaks better English but she is rude not helpful and sarcastic We paid to have the basic as it is cheap but when your basic become an issue then it makes it difficult to enjoy and relax The bed is hard uncomfortable and the mattress has no cover only sheets over it !!! The tiny bathroom is stained old and could do with being ripped out and replace ! Kitchen is unsafe and if you decide to turn hob on you need to take the fridge plug out as there is only one ( please be careful if you have children as it is so dangerous when hob plate gets hot the light doesnt stay on all the time and you might think its off ). The husband turns up in the middle of the night with sometimes his wife another time with a friend ( in two weeks we were there they turned up 4/5 times a week all different hours half one 2/3 am) with his car and talking loud and using a torch to which it all seem very weird since they have all day to do things and avoid disturbing their guest One night they switched our water off !! We were shocked ! The only good thing about this place is the location and I think the owners know that that is why they dont care how they treat their guests. The location is brilliant short walk to beach and main road but the place is awful and do not recommend it as cheap as it is. It is true that all you need is a bed to sleep on and the basic but the basics in this place is unsafe unhealthy and uncomfortable! There are other places down the road with reasonable prices and we will never make the same mistake again The first night we stayed there we wanted to run from there but unfortunately because we booked it direct we couldnt go anywhere else as other places are restricted with either Thomas cook or Thomson and cannot take outsiders as guests so we had to stay in this awful place! Thats all folks sorry but its the truth
