    Very good city hotel

The hotel is in centre of Kos Town, but in a quite calm area. It is a very 4 stars hotel, with a reception always open, elegant common areas, professional and helpful front desk staff. The small swimming pool is in a very small courtyard, anyway it was closed because of Covid. The rooms are clean, spacious, well-furnished and soundproofed. We were on 4° floor and we have a panoramic balcony. The breakfast is good and rich. The hotel has a very small private parking. We pay a good price but it was low season. When we were leaving, we have had a little gift like souvenir.

    Not recommended at all!

Was staying in this hotel because I was in town for business and oh my god I wouldve rather paying myself for a different hotel just to not stay here. The hotel is outdated and therefore does not look good, and just smells bad. But that was not the problem at all, The problem is that the staff was just rude (there were a few who were nice but all of the other were not helpful at all and there was one front desk lady who was just the worst.) Here are a few stories; First when we arrived at the evening (9 ish) to check in we asked a breakfast to go for the day after because we were not able to attend the breakfast, the lady told us we cant ask for that now and that we needed to call them until noon before we got there (while flying) because now there will be no one in the kitchen. (Wait does that means that they make the sandwich the morning before and just leave it there untill you take it the next day??) at another time we did ask them the morning before but eventually my friend made it to breakfast on time so she didnt eat the take away (2pieces of bread with 1slice of ham, 1slice of cheese and 1slice of tomato, and an apple) and when she wanted to enter the breakfast she was told that its her problem that we asked a T/A and that they dont care she doesnt eat cheese with ham and therefore didnt eat the sandwich and that we needed to tell them that in advance (I never got a sandwich as breakfast and I travel a lot for work. Its usually ingredients and you can eat whatever you like) They just told her to leave and if she want breakfast she will need to pay for it again. we wanted to go for a picnic and forgot to buy salt so we thought it will be okay to just ask a little bit of salt in a plastic cup. When saying this to the front desk lady she literally rolled her eyes, laughed at us mockingly and just called the kitchen and said something in greek. And then no eye contact, no OK, nothing. Just set back down and looked away so we went to the kitchen ourselves. we were ordered a single room with double bad, so I asked to add one person to my room, (something that again I do a lot and usually they dont even charge extra, or just charge a few euros for breakfast if we want.) The lady told us it will be 25 a night (the difference between a single room and a double with breakfast while booking is 8 which is what we thought that we will need to add) We were told that without breakfast it will be 20 (extra breakfast costs 10 so why is the discount just 5?) ((FYI for this price and maybe a little extra you can [and should] take a new different room in a much nicer hotel)) the pool is tiny and is in the middle of a room made of glass in the middle of the breakfast area, and it only has 2 chairs in there. I saw baby pools that were larger. the hotel has no parking!!! It says they do but the hotel parking is just 6 places on the street with a small sign that says hotel, no one is in charge with that and the locals who live there are the ones who actually park there. We needed to walk 3-4 streets at least from the parking we found every time. Wouldve given this hotel a big 0 stars for the review if I could.

    Lovely people and comfortable stay

Stayed for the last 3 days of September before catching a ferry to Lipsi. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff who spoke good English. Bed was comfortable and room spacious and very clean. Bathroom was fine too and we had a little balcony with a nice view over the harbour. We really enjoyed our stay and breakfast was fine, location is ideal for town and port. Loved visiting Kos town and the Roman ruins etc. Even better on our ferry return 2 weeks later we had the afternoon to spend in town and were allowed to leave our bags in their lockers. Marie on the desk even was kind enough to arrange our taxi in the evening to the airport. Fabulous service, will certainly return to this hotel.
