  lovely relaxation holiday

  The hotel had all that we needed a thouroughly relaxing and enjoyable experience, in the middle of the countryside surrounded only by the sounds of nature. It is a family run hotel and though the family are always there present, they do not bother you at all and are very cordial . It is like have a personal butler as breakfast is served when needed and one only needs to ask for something if he or she requires it. The food which is prepared on request is fresh. The rooms are extremely clean and sheets and towels are changed every single day. The pool, although not in its best condition is sufficient and extremely relaxing as one can oversee the views whilst swimming. It is not far from the centre of syracuse and from some amazing restaurants. It is a very safe place to be and one can truly unwind and find himself in this place. Both Enrico and Ivana have thumbs up for hospitality... they sure know what customer care is all about.

  Eaten alive

  We spent 2 nights there in early October on the first part of a 3 week Sicily/ Italy vacation that nearly became derailed when we suffered a terrible attack of mosquito bites. Our first night there the weather was pleasant so we decided to sit out on the deck and have some food and drink. No one warned us about the mosquito problem. The pool was not in service and had not been drained or properly kept chemically balanced. We had left the doors to our rooms open because it was such a warm night and the mosquitos were everywhere. By the time we were alerted the damage was done. I spent the next 2 weeks of our vacation stopping by various pharmacies for medicines and treating my wife's bites which very nearly became infected. The people who run the hotel are very nice and the rooms were adequate and fairly well kept up, but this was the worst experience of any trip we have taken. As a side note, the signage to the hotel off Via per Florida is poor and Via Agamemnon is poorly paved badly rutted with large potholes.

  Optimal location for exploring Siracusa and South-East Sicilia

  We stayed in this hotel for four days. It was optimal for us, quiet with a little pool. A car is required since the hotel is located a 10 min drive outside Siracusa. Also, it is within reasonable driving distanse to Noto, Ragusa and Modica - and beaches. The service was outstanding. In sum, a good choice if you have a car and want to explore Siracusa and the south-eastern part of Sicily.

  OK place but pity about the service

  I booked this place thinking that a "family hotel" would be a friendly and welcoming place. After a bit of a struggle to find it owing to the new road system in place we were greeted by the owner and shown our room. Our room was tidy and clean, though it was suffering from some lack of repair in certain areas. And despite the fact that there was an indoor seating area we weren't able to use it since it was locked. It would have been good to sit here in the evening with a coffee or tea and enjoy a bit more space. The breakfast was also rather minimal and lacking in any "family" touches. An OK place for an overnight stay but not as a base for longer visits around the region.

  eccellente foarte frumos

  frumos Stayed 7 night at this wonderful and friendly hotel. Excellent location within walking distance to most attractions , one of the highest buildings in siracusa .i like very much this hotel,very nearby the a18 freeway,i like friendly proprietors,and i want to go back another time
