  Excellent all round

  We just got home today to the UK having booked the Christmas week through Crystal ski. We were really impressed with the Albona. It's very modern and new; the rooms are a good size for all the extra space you need for kit bags & ski clothing etc.; very warm & quiet, at the nicer end of town; 3-5 min walk from Silvretta lift. The food was absolutely top rate with plenty of choice and well presented. We've been staying all over Austria for Christmas for about 20 years & this had a really top quality feel without being ostentatious. It was smaller and more intimate than most and we were made to feel very welcome. We were impressed to have a heated private ski locker per room - a delight. Also very nice to find a kettle in the room and complimentary tea/coffee which is uncommon for Austria now. We will definitely be returning next year.

  Very good family owned hotel

  If you are looking for a mid-size, family-owned hotel in Ischgl located centrally, hotel Albona would be an excellent choice. It is few minutes walk to the main lift and is one of the last hotels towards the end of the main street (no traffic noise, though). We stayed in a junior suite and the room was spacious and clean, furnished in compfy tyrolean style. My personal highlight was the food and the service. Dont miss out to eat dinner, half-board or à la carte. The staff is friendly, available at all times and well-trained. And what makes the difference, and this is always my personal choice, is that the hotel is mid-size and family-owned and operated. I highly recommend it for your next stay in Ischgl.

  good quality hotel in Ischgl

  party of 8 people for week in Feb 19 half board facilities are very comfortable Sauna is good staff are friendly and professional especially Kreimir good ambience Dinner was of a high standard i would recommend this hotel

  Another great week at the Albona Hotel

  Whats not to like ? I and my ski party have been coming to Ischgl for 20 years and, in the main ,have stayed at the Albona .Run by the sisters Zangerl this hotel never fails to please .Great,comfortable,affordable rooms with superb food and amenities .Close to the main Silvretta gondola und village centre ,it is perfectly placed for skiers to enjoy the superb skiing on offer and Apre Ski that follows .No other resort does Apre like Ischgl.Get along to the Albona and enjoy your ski holiday .

  You never know..

  Even if you have booked a double bedroom suite, you might expect an "upgrade" to a single room apartment... and although the difference will be compensated upon an insisting request, the "excuse" dinner does not cover the wine.. otherwise a rather nice hotel..
