Excellent stay for a city breakThe hotel is a few steps from the tram station (Number 4 -Alexanderplatz). The room and the bath are spacious. Room was cleaned every day. Around the hotel are groceries and restaurants. A fridge in the room and a hairdryer in the bath would improve the facilities offer.

Service really really bad!Stayed here because all the other hotels were fully booked during a large exhibition. Really bad hotel. I arrived late at the hotel and had to rang the door bell 3 times before the let me in. No information about the hotel and its services. The day after I discovered there is not extra service there. Breakfast starts at 8:00 so if you have a early meeting you don't have any chance for a breakfast, There is no wifi so if you need to work, no chance..... But what frustated me the most was the way the, I think owner, helped me. He was really rude and did not communicate at all. Only thing he wanted me to do was pay for this bad experience.... In short, the worse hotel I stayed and its main reason was the rudeness of the owner, something that suprised me in a really bad way....

Cheap, friendly and clean. The hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy, there were no cosmetic issues in any of the rooms I was in whatsoever. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is very quiet. We had a triple room which was very spacious with a really nice bathroom which was very clean and tidy as well. The beds were comfortable and there was no noise in the hotel at night at all. We stayed for 2 nights for a city break in Berlin, the tram stops right outside the hotel, and it is about a 20 minute journey to the centre of Berlin. Don't let the distance put you off the journey is a nice one passing through many different sites along the way and it is only 5 euros for a whole day travel (this also includes the tube and buses). The hotel offered a breakfast in the mornings from 8-10pm, it was simple nothing fancy but it was definitely enjoyable. The hotel was amazingly cheap as well, I'd definitely recommend coming here for a city break.
