  Great views from balcony/Small Room

  The service provided by the owner and staff were wonderful. They were very nice people and were willing to help us identify restaurants, directions, and things to do. The location is also perfect for exploring Capri while escaping the crowds. It is a very short walk to the center of town, where you can walk around, eat, and shop. You can also pick up the bus, which provides transport to all areas of the island, including a 10 minute drive down the hill to Marina Grande. The funicolare is also located near the center and provides a five minute transport to Marina Grande. So the hotel can be accessed easily from Marina Grande via the bus or funicolare. The room itself was very clean and the bed was comfortable. And the view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful. The view is by far the best aspect of the hotel. That said, I can only assign a rating of three for two reasons. First, the room could very well be the smallest of any I have ever stayed in during my lifetime. At times, my girlfriend and I had to crawl across the bed in order to get to the other side of the room. There was maybe two feet between the bed and the wall. The balcony is very small as well and gives one a cramped feeling, but provides access to beautiful views. The bathroom was also very, very small. It was comical as I worked out the logistics of showering in such a tiny space. The second reason for a 3 star rating is related to the wi-fi. It was unreliable at best and proved to be a major hassle during our stay. I would stay here again, but only under the following conditions: larger room with larger balcony, a guarantee that wifi service had been improved.

  Como en casa

  Aunque estando en Capri estás poco en la habitación, el poco tiempo lo disfrute y me sentí muy bien, como en casa! El personal muy agradable y atento, la habitación era pequeña, pero lo suficiente. Además el labavo estaba en el balcón, algó que me sorprendió mucho, salir de la ducha y poder disfrutar de las vistas espectaculares fué todo un regalo. El hotel está muy bien situado, en la mitad de todo, lo que ayuda a organizarse muy bien. Sin duda, cuando regrese, repetiré estancia.

  Everything was great!!

  We had the room with the balcony and the great view. The room was very reasonable, very clean. The staff is great, very helpful, polite and friendly. The breakfast is good. The location is great. I extremely recommend this hotel.

  ideal, silent, calm

  Very nice place, beautiful panorama, very nice, attentive staff, good breakfast. There are a lot of stairs, but that's okay. The hotel is freshly renovated, everything works. Next time we will be here.

  Lovely hotel with stunning view !!!

  We stayed Albergo La Prora for 2 nights and it was a good find. The atmosphere of the hotel is cosy and lovely. We love the stunning view from our rooms balcony and enjoy it very much. The staffs are all friendly and it is family run hotel. We felt at home. Breakfast is simple for a good start of a day in Capri. We are very happy to stay here. Highly recommended !!!
