Hidden GemFantastic small b&b located in the village of Ossana. Perfect base for those with a car wanting to explore the neighboring ski resorts. Roughly a 20minute drive either way to passo tonale or towards folgarida in the opposite direction. Lot's of small local eateries in the neighboring towns and villages and breakfast at the hotel is of a very large selection to set you up for the day. Rooms are nicely decorated and modern with large bathroom. Free underground parking is also a bonus. Definitely worth the small cost to stay here. Would pay more if I had too!

EnjoyableGreat location with a ski bus stop right there. Good parking - especially nice underground garage, but when it snows overnight, the departure is tricky. Sharp concrete bend with steep incline up afterwards, but in the elevator it's noted, so no complains there. Staff is very nice and their english is quite good. Rooms were excellent, bed was little too hard for me and corner room was colder, especially with room service (opened drapes, lowered heating). I found only italian TV channels, but I sufred only briefly. Internet was good, you have to ask at the front desk for your personal username+password, probably relique from the time it was paid extra. You can't share it between multiple devices at the same time though, you have to either wait for the other one to disconnect, or ask for more passwords. The papes says it's valid for up to 5 hours, but not sure if it's true or correctly understood :) Another inconvenience may be the access card to your room is required for the electricity there, as well as to access the building. So if you forgot something in your car, you can choose between leaving your significant other in the dark or hoping the front desk is open (which may be not, as the staff is working in the restaurant in the evening). Breakfast was pretty much the same each day, mostly sweet pastry, but in great variety. Unfortunately it started at 7:30, which was too late for us on some days (skiing in more distant resorts), so with no breakfast-package option we had to ditch it couple times. Dinners were amazing, Italian cusine is marvellous. We had no problem without reservation during weekdays, but we were there mosty just few minutes after they opened at 18:30 (also late for us, as we mostly got hungry aroud five). They offer three kinds of draught beer, which covers all three most common kinds (pilsner, dark, wheat).

not a really good experience-room is very hot -showerhose repaired with duck tape -tent of restaurant at 2 m of the roomwindows: lot of noise. -one evening a staffmember told us the bar was not for people outside the hotel...we were already there for 3 or 4 days... -breakfast room rather small -breakfast : mostly cake and cookies, no variation , not enough when you come after 8.30h. -forgotten to prepare our breakfast ( as agreed the day before ) when leaving earlier.

Ski tripGreat stay at this hotel. Lovely staff who couldnt do enough for us. The restaurant at the hotel is fantastic with some good local dishes. Excellent New Years Eve dinner (lots of very different courses). Very comfortable rooms.

Perfect placeThis place is a family run hotel and it is perfectly situated between Passo Tonale and Madonna Di Campiglio for skiing with free ski buses to both places. The rooms are cosy and basically equipped. There is a ski store and garage below the hotel. The breakfast was good basic continental with home made jams made by the owner. Boiled or poached eggs would be a good idea to add to the breakfast menu. The cakes and croissants were lovely. The staff and family were so friendly and helpful, even if their English was a little basic. The food in the connected restaurant below the hotel was stunning. We had the New Years Eve dinner which was brilliant albeit we ran out of space for the sheer amount of delicacies on offer. The town itself is attractive with a beautiful castle and I would have liked more time to explore!
