  Great Foggiana experience! fantastic atmosphere, fantastic localization

  I stayed in this Albergo for 2 weeks. it is located right in the historical center of Foggia, once u there...u feel the southern italian way of living, narrow streets, women at the window talking with each other, bonjourno here, ciao there ... como cai? fantastic atmosphere, fantastic localization regarding the albergo per si...First it is important to say that it is not a Hotel or a hostel. and I don't think the owners wish that as well. But this point is far from being a negative side...it gives you a very familiar feeling.the owner lady is super helpful, always ready to aid/advice in anything. the breakfast is quite good, not as (again!!)in a hotel, but nothing pays having a breakfast outside on the street while fraternizing with the locals!!! finally, this is perhaps the most clean and tidy place I have ever been! it is impressive really! 101% for this part! Plus, bellow there is a (familiar) restaurant...a super bonus! Thank you for making me feel at home :) and for bare with me for 2 weeks!!!!

  Nice

  Oldish, but nice hotel in the centre of town. It is a very short walk to the piazza. Reasonable sized rooms. Comfortable. Clean. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Suitably safety conscious. Breakfast is very basic. Reasonable value for the price.

  Bumped to another hotel on arrival. Told there was a "problem" with the booking.

  This was a bad experience. We had stayed here before about two years ago. Good, clean, small hotel in the old city. My wife and were returning to Foggia so we booked this hotel again well in advance of trip. Booking was confirmed. Two days prior to arrival we received an email confirming the booking again. When we arrived we were told there was a problem, and that we had been moved to another hotel. We were not out of pocket but the different hotel was near the railway station and well away from the old town where we wanted to stay. I suspect they received an overlapping booking for a longer stay and decided to bump us. Not good. We visit Foggia often and it is unlikely we will use this place again.

  My wife travels with medicine and although there are not refridgerators in the rooms, they wre than helpful.

  This is a very clean and well taken care of property. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. The location is quite good in the old town. We found a local market nearby with a stall of foraged greens just like my grandfather used to pick in the country in Pennsylvania. Foggia had been his home.

  Great place central and comfortable.

  Stayed here during Easter weekend and the staff was very accommodating. They really made an effort to help out. Would recommend for these reasons, along with the fact that it has a great location. Also, there is a very good restaurant right next door.
