  We celebrated an anniversary at this hotel. Had romantic walks around the grounds. Felt like royalty. The hotel is decorated in such a way that you feel like youre in your own home. The staff is very personable. The service and the food is a five-star experience. You must try the French toast croissant for breakfast. Hopefully its still on the menu when you visit. Highly recommended hotel.

  Very nice and the staff are great

  Very relaxing. Friendly atmosphere. I would love to see it in the spring and summer. Wine is stronger than normal so be careful! lol There are plenty of wineries and other homes to tour too. We walked the Monticello trail and had a great time. There's an old buffet close by with good food. Nice time.

  Amazing, Beatiful and Elegant! GREAT STAFF!!!!

  We loved everything about our weekend getaway to celebrate our Anniversary! The staff is small but very accommodating and friendly! The dining room menu is short but all the options we choose were done well! The food at the winery was also amazing! The only bad thing was the VA governor's CCP Virus restrictions!

  Albermarle Estate Exceeds Expectations

  A Birthday getaway during the Pandemic was our reason for visiting this Trump property. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, the food and great service. Located in southern Virginia's wine country we were able to visit the Trump tasting room and two other premier Virginia wineries in the area as well as Thomas Jefferson's estate, Monticello in 3 days of unhurried relaxation and wine tasting.

  A Lovely B&B In An Amazing Setting

  You have to have your expectations correctly set to appreciate the Albemarle Estate. This is NOT a grand hotel or anything like a grand hotel. It is a very nice B&B and operates as such. Amenities are better than the typical B&B and service is on par (though below the service expected from a true luxury hotel). The property and setting are simply spectacular. The Estate sits on thousands of acres of rolling fields, ponds, and vineyards. It is quiet and peaceful in a relaxing way. The main building is a 20,000+ SF home converted to a B&B. It's not entirely to my taste as it's too glitzy, faux fancy, and all that glitters isn't gold. For example, the walls in the foyer appear to be constructed of the natural stone to be expected in a grand home. Oops! Not stone...wallpaper. Same with the columns and such. MASSIVE SUGGESTION: We stayed in the charming log cabin located about 100 yards away from the main house. Yes, we did have to walk outside (some walks were cold!) to go to breakfast and other activities in the house - but we weren't bothered by that at all. Stay at the cabin! You won't be unhappy. The staff was B&B friendly. Meaning they all were extra friendly and wanted to make us feel at home. They had a few glitches in service here and there (balls dropped and so on) and they are far behind in any level of operational digitization and efficiency. We liked our stay and would recommend it. Stay in the cabin!!!!
