    Excellent location, renovated, beautiful swimming pool

    We stayed at Hotel Albatros in June 2012. The hotel has an excellent location on the road between Forio and Citara, walking distance from the Cala dell'Isola beach. We had a beautiful room with a small balcony with sunset views of the ocean and the swimming pool terrace. We enjoyed the pool at the end of the day, with a bar and free wifi. The hotel has also a restaurant. We recommend renting a car in Ischia and driving around all the beautiful sites around the Island. (You can rent a car next door to the hotel).

    beautiful holidays

    Beautiful hotel with luxurious swimming pools - one with normal water, one with mineral. Nice staff. Tasty meals (morning: buffet, lunch/dinner: choice from 3 meals + soup and dessert). Wi-fi: only by the swimming pool and in the lobby. Rooms: we had absolutely great room with huge terrace overlooking the sea. Marvelous! It was room in upper floor in the newer part of the hotel. Beach: well, this island is not about beaches ... the closest beach to the hotel was still quite far away - walk up the hill, than lot of stairs down. Quite exhausting journey in the sunshine. ANd the beach only OK - guite steep, so not good for children. Really nice beach is in the city centre. BUt be prepared for 25-30 minutes walk. Would I come again? Yes, with pleasure!

    Bed Bugs and NO Air Conditioning during Heatwave in August. Staff Extremely Rude and Does NOT Care about Customer Service. They made no effort to correct problems. They are Liars and Thieves Absolute Nightmare.

    Hotel Albatros

    We went to the Hotel Albatros on a warm Saturday night for drinks and entertainment by their lovely outdoor pool. The hotel is a short walk from the center of town and boasts an impressive view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. There was a keyboard player/singer along with another singer. They both had great voices and were very entertaining. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
