  Okay if you know what to expext

  My and my boyfriend came here on a day trip and just didnt really expect it to be a massive hotel complex. The hot springs, Im not disputing arent natural, but the channels they are in a very man made. We just thought it would be more of a natural experience not walking through a hotel resort. Also there is a zip wire and go ape style course so if you are going you may want to take trainers to go on these! I wouldnt recommend people to go if they have other things to do around hue, Just maybe if they have a spare morning/ afternoon.

  Beautiful place, but not worth a day-trip

  For my last day in Vietnam I decided to go for a day trip to the hot spring. It's a 45-minute drive from Hue city and I took a cab to get there for 300k. Entrance for a combination ticket for using the zipline and the hot springs (does not include spa usage) was 192k. Lunch was about 250k. The good: the facilities are absolutely beautiful and the hot springs are very peaceful. You could really spend hours just relaxing there. It was quite empty (sometimes creepily empty, I was the only one in the restaurant) when I went (early December) and despite the light rain and bit of cold, I could still really enjoy it. Staff are quite nice and they organized a return cab for me. Zipline safety is taken seriously. The bad: it's very expensive to take a cab there and go back, that it's not worth it for a day trip. The hotel does provide shuttle buses but only on select days. You get the feeling that they're constantly trying to get money from you. Despite a not cheap entry price, you still have to pay for renting towels, and they want a deposit for using the lockers. The bathrooms that are not part of the spa are not clean enough for the facility. They only give a small bottle of water. The staff didn't speak a lot of English. The spa usage is not part of the day ticket. All in all, I think it's worth going there if you're staying for a night. Not worth a day trip.

  Not Quite What We Expected

  We unfortunately were only here for about an hour or so, so maybe it wasn't quite enough time. The place wasn't exactly the hot springs we were expecting. We were expecting something far more natural. It was also very quite due to the Virus break out in China. But overall a lovely place, very clean and tidy, they have quite a few activities which you can partake in. It's a nice destination if you are looking for a very touristy place.

  Alba Hotspring? -Number 1!!

  We spent 2 nights at the Resort and I rate it 10 out of 10! The staff were super helpful and friendly, especially the breakfast/lunch waitresses Miss Na and Miss Hanh-Miss Hanh even knows the correct way of pouring a beer (I know I am an Australian, but I don't drink beer for breakfast-I am taking about lunch!). The Manager is also very helpful and happy, eventhough he is from South Africa, only joking. I would highly recommend the Resort to anyone visiting the Hue-Dong Ha region of Viet Nam.

  Wonderful

  Loved this place. The hot springs were perfect and the location is beautiful. The staff were all great, from the ladies in reception,the restaurant, the spa and Mr Thanh from Recreation. Highly recommended.
