  We spent 4 nights in this family run hotel. Very clean, very friendly staff and very good with the kids. Breakfast was great - even Tiramisu featured on the breakfast choice! They need to provide more information to guests re places to eat, local tourist sites and recommendations. Very little English spoken.

  Do not stay here, you will be disappointed

  I stayed here with my sister in September for 2 nights. When we arrived we were asked if we would like to have the set menu for lunch in their restaurant and we said yes. BAD MISTAKE!! Do NOT have the set menu here. First of all the food was so terrible and basic, it was like there was a child in the kitchen cooking. I could only laugh to myself in amazment at what was actually being served. Then to make matters worse, we were charged 50 euros for the 2 of us for their efforts! It was the worst meal i have ever eaten in my life! The mosquitos in the room were annoying. I would have liked to keep our balcony door open to enjoy the view but it wasn't possible. The hotel is a fair walk to town if you are wheeling heavy bags. The staff told us they would drive us to the bus stop on check out but then didn't. When we arrived at our next hotel i remembered i had left an item of clothing in the cupboard and had the hotel call them to organise for it to be sent to a hotel in Otranto we would go to the following week. The hotel advised they would send the item of clothing. When i arrived in Otranto the package had not arrived. The hotel in Otranto rang to confirm it had been sent and were told that it had. I ended up having to leave money with the hotel in Otranto to post me my clothing when it arrived however months later it still did not arrive. The hotel in Otranto had to refund me my postage money and my clothing has disappeared. Thanks very much for nothing Hotel Alba. Your hotel is tired and run down. Your customer service is terrible and the food is disgusting and way overpriced! Worst hotel of our stay!

  TERRIBLE

  TRES SPECIALE this Famille of Suisse german et italien !!!??? I call to arrange Our SPECIALE diet he says no problème you do it with me when You arrive. I Try to gentle Say I would like to arrange it now as its easier for my handicap wife. No Luck. Parking is hard for unloading the car et my handicap, only After I insiste can I get the other entrance. The mother does not Speak english plus She answers when my wife says She its good for customers," that my wife should learn italien"!!! STRANGE. WE ask if WE can have Our lunch the next day instead of dîner he says WE talk when you come back??? THE next its no. So the Girlfriend says ok for tomates et cheese, WE Say ok but WE go to sleep for 2 hours, no problème. But the LOST in the translations is BAD! GRAVE !!! They CALL 2 Long TIMES ET THEN COME WAKE US UP AGAIN WITH A KNOCK ON THE DOOR!!!???!!! WORSE WHEN WE GO DOWN HE SCREAMS AT US FOR NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO HIS HELP!!!???!!! NOW HE IS BULLHEAD ET THE KITCHENETTE IS CLOSED. When I am eating breakfast the mom TALKS TO ME WHILE I AM ON THE PHONE AND HAS THE NERVE TO ASK ME TO LEAVE THE AREA??? When WE check out hé says no to the SPECIALE parking for MY WIFE ET LOADING THE CAR!!! I HAVE A HERNIE DISCALE ET HE SAYS HE DOES NOT CARE FOR MY WIFE!!! I HAVE TO INSISTE THAT HE LETS ME USE IT for Android I HURT MY BACK WITH MY LUGGAGE !!! GREAT ROMANTIQUE WEEKEND !

  Great Italian experience

  A good italian hotel near the sea , the view from the balcony its amazing ,enough space on the balcony. Everything was clean: the room, the reception and the restaurant. Amazing italian food and sweets in the morning . The staff was really gentle and helpful. Nice experience ! I recommend !

  WHAT A SURPRISE!

  Due to an unplanned event we were forced to spend one night in this hotel. What a SURPRISE. A fantastic location on the sea. Great staff. A wonderful breakfast. A Real heaven on earth. Congratulations.
