    Buen hotel

    Hotel con una estructura baja de tan solo 2 plantas, con unas curiosas fuentes rebosantes en la entrada, una recepción muy cuidada y un hall donde se pueden encontrar muebles clásicos y contemporáneos y algunos ejemplares de la editorial Taschen que son verdaderas joyas y relajan al cliente mientras toma una copa. Habitaciones amplias y acogedoras, algunas con una especie de altillo donde se encuentra la cama. Baño correcto. El conjunto transmite sensación de calidad y confort. Muy recomendable.

    Superb Italian all-rounded restaurant experience with nice looking hotel but some minor flaws

    We arrived early evening on a Friday night after a long day at a trade show and briefly dropped our luggage at our room before heading down to the restaurant. The restaurant was a superb all-rounded Italian dinner and service experience which one could hope for. Great Italian food and awesome wholehearted Italian service you wish you could experience in overly crowded Italian tourist cities like Venice and Florence. After dinner we went straight to bed, seeing we had another long day at the trade show we were attending the next day. Unfortunately our room was quite dusty and people with allergies do not sleep well in such a room. On top of this the circuit board was in the middle of the room making a constant zooming sound and the heating was hard to manage. Though the bathroom was in good condition and very clean, with only a little bar of soap, we were lacking some basic amenities you normally find in a 4/5 star hotel. The beds can be considered hard for some people. Staff was very attentive and although we only spend one night here, we felt more than welcome. Too bad the hotel elevator had a damaged floor, because everything else looked like new and was nicely looked after. Breakfast was simple but good.

    Excellent Hotel & fabulous restaurant

    The Hotel and service are outstanding; rooms are clean and posh, breakfast simple but fresh. The restaurant is great offering typical Italian food. Good relation quality/price. A must-stay if you are in this area.

    Very Nice Rooms

    Room was excellent and comfortable. It had a large bed in Mezzanine and hence was unique. Good shutter window to cut out light. The Bathroom was large compared to other places that we stayed hence it was a very welcome change.The dining experience in the restaurant was also very nice. It was raining hence we could not explore much of the surroundings.

    Terrible service - AVOID. Guest comes LAST

    I had booked this hotel online. When I turned up, they asked for payment. I duly paid in cash. They STILL debited the money in my account, however, for my FULL STAY, meaning that I had no spending money. They accepted payment twice, unknown to me when I happily paid for my stay upfront and in cash. If they had planned to debit the money in my account, then they shouldnt have taken cash off of me when I arrived, thereby leaving me with no money to spend and panicked and worried on my own. I felt physically sick when I realised this. They heavy, bearded man - manager ? - showed no regard for my worry at having no money through THEIR ERROR, and he kept blaming the bank - nonsense. They processed it. The bank did not. The fact is, as they had already debited me, they shouldnt have taken money off of me when I arrived. I was naive to the fact that if I paid in cash, I wouldnt be able to access the money in my account that they had debited. I secured my room with my card in case of a no - show but I never intended to pay with card, always cash, and I intimated this at the time of booking. Therefore, they shouldnt have taken payment from my card when I checked in as well as at the same time accepting full cash payment. The money had been in my account that very morning - they debited it when I arrived, then took my cash, not telling me that they were doing that, which I find highly, highly dishonest. The easy solution was to be to hand over my cash and give me that back - but no. They decided to go the more difficult route of REFUNDING MY DEBIT CARD, which meant I would be even longer with no money. It was as though they were trying deliberately to be difficult or to upset me. The easy and simple solution would be to just refund me my cash payment. In effect, I was doubly out of pocket for my whole trip and they did not care. Eventually the money was refunded into my account a week later when I was back in the UK, but they ruined my ENTIRE holiday. It would have been good service and SENSIBLE to just refund me the cash I gave them on arrival for my room and not initiate a refund process - why would you not do that ? Is it maybe too sensible an option ? Do they like to see their guests stressed and anxious and crying ? They never once tried to help me - and this was THEIR mistake. I had paid upfront, I had secured my room, I turned up on time on the right day - why do all that ? Instead they seemed pleased to witness my distress and argued with me that it wasnt their fault. They didnt care, they had their money (twice) and I therefore had no money while I was there. Terrible, terrible, terrible service. Ive since told many people not to go here and I shall continue to do the same. My family and friends frequently go to this area of Italy and they have steered clear of this awful place based on my experience. They also did not even have water, a basic, in the room, when it was about 37 degree heat. The prices are through the roof and NO WATER. Even a threadbare hostel gives you water. I hated this hotel. The staff were supercilious and had no empathy. They just want your money. They dont care about guests happiness. This ruined my entire trip and it really made me lose some of my faith in humanity, with the awful practice I was subject to.
