  Good hotel

  New hotel, large and elegantly decorated rooms with comfortable beds and overall a good quality of service. Price is adequate. Room service available, restaurant and a lobby bar on premises. Good quality. Two minor pet-peeves: bathroom had mold in the corner of bathroom and under the sink, both times in the sealant between the bathtub/tiles and sink/tiles. Totally ruins the good impression of otherwise clean bathroom. Also, the breakfast buffet selection is bizarre, forget eggs and bacon, there's rice and potatoes and chicken and steamed vegetables, basically more of a lunch than breakfast. I found this in many Russian hotels and still fail to understand why they do it :)

  New and pretty good

  It is a new and elegant hotel in Astrakhan. Very good breakfast. Prices are reasonable considering offered services, location and quality. Only English language skills of the staff need to be improved to be considered as a good choice for tourists.

  Excellent

  The price of the hotel is excellent, considering it's town centre location, right near the Kremlin, which is fantastic to walk. The rooms are very clean, with friendly staff who helped us, despite our lack of Russian language capability. There is also a gym at the hotel and although we didn't use it, I did have a peek and it looked adequate. Breakfast was good.

  Great comfort and excellent food

  Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. The rooms comfortable, clean and nice. The restaurant served great food with good service and the breakfast was very tasty with great vareity. Everything as expected

  Good but failed to impress

  The exterior of the hotel was impressive and the reception area was impressive. The room and bathroom was good, clean and tidy. The room temperature could not be controlled by the AC unit and it was very hot. The only way to achieve the desired temperature was to open the balcony doors and leave them open through the night - fortunately, despite facing the front of the hotel there was no noise from the outside. The bathroom was fine but more towels and bigger towels would have been much better. There were not enough and they were small. The TV had only one English speaking programme - RT News. Breakfast was a very disappointing buffet.
