  Great stay!

  The location and views are amazing. The staff on reception are fantastic and could not have helped us more. The young lady with long dark hair was especially helpful (don't know her name). She helped us with lots of things from ordering taxis, to finding bus stops. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Great value for money. The only thing I would say is that I didn't rate the breakfast that much, but I find decent breakfasts hard to come by in Italy. Apart from that I would highly recommend.

  excellent, refurbished hotel, wonderful staff, great location.

  3 minutes walk to the lake front, buses, ferry links and restaurants. 5 minutes to get you to the railway station. Recently refurbished to a very high standard. All rooms, we gather, are different in decoration and layout. The staff are great - especially the ladies in reception who are always pleasant and charming. A varied continental breakfast is served but you can get hot eggs however you like them. We found this quite adequate to start the day. Not related to the hotel but worth mentioning: there is a trip you can take to the north end of the lake (locano) via a scenic railway which goes through the mountains to the north of baveno and promises spectacular views en route . the return trip is from locano to baveno by ferry. The views are usually blocked by lots of trees and the usual view if not, is more trees. A three hour ferry trip back to Baveno is a bit of an ordeal after a two hour train ride. Not worth it on our opinion.

  Nice Hotel

  Nice hotel in a great location 2 min walk from lake Maggiore and the centre of Baveno. Everything in the hotel was modern, new and clean. There is secure underground parking- think the website states its free its not. Staff are really friendly and helpful and speak good English. They are happy to book restaurants for you. Hotel provides breakfast which was reasonable - lots of cold items and scrambled egg. Mini bar in the room is a reasonable price - there seemed to be a small kitchenette in the room which we never used - doors were locked so I guess you pay extra for that. Theres a roof terrace which runs as a bar from 6-9pm which is great for sun downers and gives a great view. For some reason hotel doesnt really mention it.

  Lovely!

  Stayed here last week, lovely hotel, clean, beautifully decorated & well presented. We had a suite with lake view that was simply stunning. Breakfast first class as were all staff we encountered. Ideally placed for local attractions & restaurants.

  Loved this hotel!

  I wasnt totally certain what to expect from this hotel because of the name-aparthotel threw me off a bit. Let me tell you, this is a fabulous hotel in a beautiful setting! Many of the hotels around Lake Maggiore are right on the lake, but they are very old school and not updated. This hotel, however, is totally modern, and while not directly on the lake, it sits a block up on a hill so you get fantastic views! Everything was top notch and the staff were there to help if you needed it, but left you alone if you didnt. We did not partake in breakfast, but it smelled terrific! The little town of Baveno is steps away so no need to drive to get to dinner. We hiked up in the hills above the town and saw many of the little hamlets around. I would not hesitate to stay here again and really hope that I do!
