  Buen hotel pintoresco

  Hotel pintoresco de buena calidad. Recepcionistas amables y con predisposición a ayudar. Habitaciones amplias y limpias. Desayuno bueno. Aparcamiento propio gratuito al lado del hotel. Buena calidad de la señal wifi gratuito. En líneas generales nos encantó el hotel para pasar una noche.

  Black Forest Hospitality at its best.

  We stayed here with a group whilst visiting the Black Forest. This hotel was really nice. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and there were plenty of towels and toiletries.There were free bottles of water everyday. The reception area was very nice as were the reception staff. The restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent - the only comment I would make is that there were never any vegetables. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice and some lovely bread and cheeses. The hotel had a massage/spa facility which was great. The owner was a delight - she would check every evening to see that all was well. The staff were absolutely lovely and in fact a pleasure to be served by them nothing was too much trouble and our waitress Julia and David in the bar were excellent a real asset to the hotel. There was a lovely garden area with seats and tables where you could sit and have a drink. There is also wi-fi at this hotel which was good. The only negative comment I could make about this hotel is that it is on a very noisey road and we were not able to get any sleep and you couldn't have the windows shut because it was too hot! All in all would highly recommend but make sure you have a room at the back or even on the side. The area around the hotel was very nice as well with a lovely short walk to a very nice lake.

  7 days stay in Lossburg.

  For passing our New Years evening from 2019 into 2020 we have choosen the Hotel Hirsch in the small hamlet of Lossburg in the Black Forest in Germany. We have booked a stay of 7 day´s in half Pension. We do know the hotel already for about 25 years and the owner Frau Refuss is a very friendly and most of all competent person. And the staff with at the reception desk Heike, is more than friendly, they help whenever they can. The New years Party was fine with a good menue and music. It is a hotel where you have the feeling to be at home, also for dog lovers it is a need, they are very well treateds in the hotel. The rooms are Comfortable, they serve the regional cuisine all with fresh products, than you have for the sauna lovers the spacious "SaunaLändle", the "Knet-Stüble" and the "Bade-Stüble". The location of the hotel in the middle of the northern Black Forest is an ideal starting point for your day trips, by walking, by car or for biking. WE in any case will return when we are fit for it. A woth of thanks to Frau Evi and the whole staff!!

  Very nice place, good restaurant,nice sauna espace,but noisy rooms

  We went for a love weekend including one candle dinner. Restaurant very good, sauna and staff very pleasant. Negative points: noisy rooms because of the main road just in front of the hotel; and other guests in sauna area, it´s non-textile zone and some people wore swimming customes (mainly French), others took several glasses and there were not enough clean glasses for all the people. I should recommend someone to watch out this area.

  Waitress could have been honest

  Told by a waitress that: " It is illegal in Germany to serve tap water in restaurants". "Why?" I asked? "Health and safety" the woman stated A completely inaccurate and false statement by this individual . Yes you can. Just her being greedy. Not a good advertisement for German hospitality......... Questionable value for money.
