  NIce and clean hotel !

  We stayed on July 2016 at Akvaya Hotel. We payed 40 Euro for a triple room at 5th floor, with breakfast and all things were OK. Very nice staff ! I let the pictures to talk from themselves ! Enjoy your stay !!!

  Hotel is good

  Hotel is clean, with friendly staff. Good location, there is bus station near. Just 10 minutes to reach the street with shops, restaurants. Its nice to stay here in the summer because there is a pool outside in the upper floor.

  Very good

  We have stayed one night, everything was as we expected, the photos are real, clean room and very polite stagf . They have a very good restaurant were you can eat. They have free parcking, free wi fi and the hotel is located very close to center. We enjoyed staying here !

  hotel to stay in while visiting veliko Tarnovo

  The room was excellent and wam the bed was comfortable too. and an excellent breakfast. The hotel offers car parking. It is located near the centre of town a 15 minute walk from the centre. The hotel is quiet and is very good value for money. Only improvement needs more channels on the television.

  Decent hotel but with a serious issue with AC hygiene

  The hotel is really decent at quite a affordable price - 25 EUR for a single room. It also includes free underground parking which is a serious advantage. The presence of parking itself is an advantage, not to mention it's free of charge. The rooms are nice and definitely clean, as well as the bathroom. The staff at the reception were very polite and positive. Of course the breakfast is nothing special but just in accordance with the price. There is no feeling of luxury and the general perception is for a neat and cozy hotel at very affordable price without any claim for fancy and fashion. The hotel is just some 10 minutes away from the central part of Veliko Tarnovo where one can find a lot of souvenir shops and restaurants which offer delicious meals. But unfortunately there was one very unpleasant detail which ruined my overall perception - the air conditioner state ..... When being close to the AC body I felt kind of an unpleasant scent. I checked the AC body, underneath the plastic grill the reality was terrifying - the coolant body was congested with dust and mold and its bottom was in a puddle of condensed water. Totally disgusting! (check the pictures). I informed the receptionists about it and I hope the Akvaya Hotel management will find a way to solve this issue since this small piece of the puzzle is the only reason for my negative rating.
