    Traditional Tiroelan

The surroundings are amazing, you are immersed in the Tyroelan countryside. The hotel is relatively large when compared to other accommodation establishments around. However they managed to incorporate a warm design with traditional wood warm structures inside and outside. In summer you can enjoy the evening chill on the creaking wooden balcony over looking the expanse of greenery, the tranquil view of the forest and mountains. If you want to maintain yourself active there is plenty of nature to explore around. In winter it is geared up for skiing with facilities round the corner. The indoor pool comes in handy especially in winter whilst the games room keeps the kids and teens occupied. The rooms are not 'wow but have an alpine look which is, warm and welcoming, the bathrooms look tired and might benefit from some refurbishment, however everything was functional and clean. The owners are the hosts along with additional personnel, and they are all quite helpful. They offer an all inclusive option with Beer, wine and other drinks during main meals. Breakfast is continental buffet whilst meals are set menu with choice including a buffet salad as starter. The menu offers a good balance between traditional dishes and staple European cuisine. On a Saturday evening the hotel offers entertainment alongside a traditional dinner. Ideal for travelers with own transport such as a car, motorbike or coach for groups, with ample free parking space available.

All round, a good 3* hotel

We stayed as part of a group visiting the Tirol. Pros: picturesque views, friendly helpful staff, spacious rooms, well presented & tasty evening meals, no safe but a lockable drawer. Cons: steep slope from roadside, wrong end of village (30 min uphill walk to the lovely church), no outside lights on balcony, antique toaster (breakfast) took 5 mins to toast bread. This hotel would not suit guests with limited mobility.

    mistral holidays

we traveled with mistral holidays to this hotel, it is quite run down and needs a bit of updating. We were not told that its a 30 minute walk up hill to the village where there are a few cafes and one supermarket. If you have mobility problems this hotel is not for you. Also they do not have twin rooms !!
