Great place to relaxIt's a hotel that provides a cozy and comfortable feel to it. The beach is literally in front of the hotel, and the hotel provides free beach towels as well as free umbrella and sunbeds. The rooms are good, the breakfast is great, and the service they provide is really great. The owner/manager makes an effort to make guests feel welcome and is always helpful. However, a 5 star review goes to the Hotel Chef who makes an extra effort to please guests with great dishes. Definitely recommend the place, especially for family with kids.

Manager of the hotel needs to be removed!I dont know who owns the property but they must take seriously into consideration that the manager of the hotel needs to be removed. He is rude, and not trying to please the customers at all. For example we asked where we can rent a boat. He said in Neos Marmaras which is 25km away from Toroni. At the diving center in Toroni, they told us that there are boats in Porto Koufo as well (2km away). We drove to Porto Koufo and booked a boat and then we asked him again and he insisted that there were no boats there! As the owner of the boats informed us, this is happening because he refused to pay commission to the manager. The way he treated our family shows how disrespectful he is to his customers and that he puts his own profit first. Just to inform that we are a family with 2 children, and for him it was completely logical to send us 25km away than to the next village only 1 minute drive just because he earned no money from us! Shame, shame, shame!!! P.S It is a pity because Akti Toroni deserves better...

Well-run, small beachfront hotel for a relaxing couples or family holidayWe had a really enjoyable four night break at Akti Toroni as a family of four, with two children aged eight and nine. We were the only family there from the UK as the majority were from Eastern Europe. We had the largest room type I believe which was a studio apartment, with one large room containing a large bed, a sofa bed, a kitchenette and bathroom. All very well appointed and recently modernised. Everything was very nice in the room however the sofa bed was on the hard side and the pillows quite high. The view of the beach was great, However our Veranda was not at all private and our sea view was Somewhat interrupted by parked cars as we were on the ground floor. The manager was always on hand, in case anybody put a step out of line and his team were very good at their jobs. They were all very friendly. They even drove us to Porto Koufo and back for our evening meal there (5 mins drive away) for a small fee. Porto Koufo was a beautiful beach and port with fish tavernas. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and the bar well stocked. We had lunch and dinner in the hotel too on one of the days and enjoyed the small but perfectly fine menus. Toroni beach and Toroni Is a smallish resort, however does have plenty of accommodation options and a long sandy beach with lovely shallow sea for everyone to enjoy. There are no water sports in the vicinity but if you get a car, drive 15 mins to kalamitsi and its a fab resort further along the coast, great beach and fab beach cafe scene. This hotel doesnt have a pool, which we wouldve liked however the sea was right on the doorstep and the sunset in front of the hotel was beautiful. There are plenty of eateries around and more up the road in Porto Koufo.

Solo adventureMedium quality services offered by the hotel management and staff against the prices they had taken. Overall it was a average experience with well spacious rooms but did not liked the bathroom interior to be frank.

A hidden gemI stayed in this lovely hotel with my parents in July 2019 and I have to say that it met all our expectations. The staff is very friendly and the manager/owner is also always there, making sure that everything runs smoothly. This is a bed and breakfast hotel, however, there is an option to pay additionally for lunch/dinner. The breakfast was excellent, which is very important for me. They had everything, such as eggs (omelette, boiled, fried), several types of domestic, high quality cheese, ham/salami, olives, cereals and fruit. Oh and most importantly - the famous Greek yogurt. All in all, for a boutique hotel, the variety of food is great. Although we did not have lunch/dinner there every day, since we wanted to explore Toroni, I have to say that everyting on the hotel's menu was freshly made and very tasty. Also, it was not unusal to get a complimentary desert, which was also very good. Our room was cleaned daily and the interior was exactly as in the pics. The beach itself is beautiful. The distance between the sunbeds is good and leaves you with a decent sense of privacy (unlike many other places, where they literally put somebody else's sunbed right next to you, which is preposterous). At the end of our holiday, we received a complimentary bottle of vine, for which I am sending my warmest regards, again. All in all, I would definitely come again. Toroni is a beautiful, quite little place which has everything. The cafes and restaurants are excellent, and I have to say that I was amused by the professionality and politeness everywhere. I am going to Greece for holidays for circa 25 years (I'm 33 now), and this trip was a rare opportunity for me to once again feel the Greece in which I fell in love when I was a kid. Toroni and this hotel are truly a hidden gem and I hope that they won't change for worse . We were not very fortunate with the weather, since our holiday literally began with the horrible storm which basically spoiled the weather afterwards, but this has not changed our mind about Toroni and this lovely hotel, which we remember very fondly. Hope to visit this place soon again. Milica Kosutic and the Stojanovic family.
