  lovely hotel where staff cant do enough for you, only downside was lack of entertainment and food was very repetative on the plus side could visit hotel next door for entertainment and variety of food

  Relaxing break

  We were surprised by the queue at reception when we checked in after midnight. However check in was quick and efficient and we were taken to our rooms by buggy. The rooms were spacious and clean. However the shower head over the bath was in the wrong position which meant the floor was often soaked. There was a good selection of food in the buffet. This was usually a good quality. We usually had the same table so got to know the waiter. We had lunch at the pool bar a couple of times and the food there was also good. We ate in all three themed restaurants. The seafood restaurant was disappointing, but the Asian and Greek ones were very good. As it was late in the season there were plenty of sunbeds around the main pool. However the pool was very cold. We used the shuttle bus into the local village a couple of times.

  Wonderful

  Weve had an amazing time, so much care taken into staying safe and keeping guests happy. Pools are beautiful, staff are lovely, amazing massages from Angelo and Marcela at Aegeo Spas! Will miss this place so much! Thankyou.

  Amazing trip.

  An amazing first time trip to Greece was brought to you by the well maintained hotel, covid being taken very seriously and masks being worn, and in the Aegeo Spa especially the massage therapist there Frosini, she exemplifies what a great massage therapist should be. She was very helpful during the trip and the spa was always very clean and face masks were always worn by all of the workers which is a plus in my books. Will be back here again.. see you next summer Kos..

  Disappointed

  Akti Beach was not our first choice, booked last minute as holiday to Turkey was cancelled. Checked reviews and was really looking forward to arriving. Check in was really quick although no details about facilities or map of hotel given. Was shown to room 1721 standard sea view room. Room was exactly that, standard, the high shower holder was faulty and shower head wouldnt stay in the holder which explained the cracked and damaged bath. The bath and hand towels have definitely seen better days, one of them was threadbare and grey, when it was changed the new one wasnt much better. This items were explained to reception and a note was taken. Nothing was done. We didnt make a big fuss as we were grateful we had got away. Working throughout like a lot of others Food was never hot however there was plenty to eat and no upset stomachs Chinese cooking station was really good, although extremely busy. Definitely not enough staff to cope with full hotel, main bar during the day one server (didnt get her name) on her own serving drinks, clearing tables, restocking bar and queues were relentless, she was shattered, though always smiling, waiting staff rushed off there feet but again always smiling. Not somewhere we would return to. Just pleased we got away as many people havent had the opportunity or chance to have a holiday. There were lots of happy holiday makers dont let my review put you off, maybe we were just unlucky!
