  Really bad

  The worst holiday I have ever had. The Italians and the whole hotel are incredibly noisy! Loud music which does not allow you to sleep until 1 am. Loud music by the pool, loud music on the beach. The longest queues in the restaurant/ canteen I have ever seen (waiting for 25 minutes was quite ok), absolutely packed, nowhere to sit, terrible organisation, incapability of the staff, they could not solve anything, they even could not speak English...

  Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, but noisy

  Hotel is good for families. ROOM: Our apartement was nice - big, two rooms, kitchen with owen and real fridge, and we've even seen the sea. But for us, nightly disco on piazetta from 23-01h was unwanted surprise. Managemet of hotel tried give us another not so noisy apartment, but unfortunately, all rooms were occupied. But the staff and animation team was nice, we enjoyed gymnastic at the beach, the archery and also night show at the amphitheatre - animation team is full of young friendly people. FOOD: At the Breakfast - nothing special, always the same food, there was always queue at coffee machines. Dinner was OK - pasta, carne, pesce, salads, one homemade dessert. Wine and water is included. LOCATION: Hotel is located 2,5 km from village Nova Siri, there is nothing else around. I recommend to use the shuttle to the village (1 EUR one way). One grocery shop is in the hotel, prices are at the same level as at the village. Note: Opening hours includes "siesta" so it is open 8:30-13, 17-20h. If you like to be all the day at the beach, it is ok, but if you want to see beautiful nature and historical cities and monuments in Basilicata, you have to rent a car (we paid 70 EUR per day for a small Alfa Romeo). NOTE: Don't forget to bring ear plugs, if you want to sleep. In case of problem, reffer to the Reception, most of people there speaks English and will help you.

  Wonderful location and facilities - basic accommodation

  This resort had everything and particularly for families there is almost round the clock entertainment. It is huge with two pools and a lovely path (long) down to a private beach. There is entertainment on the stage most evenings and though in Italian still worth watching. Language is a problem as the reception and entertainment staff don't neccessarily speak English (though why should they - it's Italy)so best to have plenty of phrases apps on your phone. The accommodate in self-catering is very basic no frills with the gas hob reminding me of 4 camping stoves. The rooms are spacious though. I would love to go again. This is basically a club where people own a share so it is really geared to that Cleaners come around and you have to book an inspection before your leave to get your deposit back although when we tried they just said 'we trust you'.

  beautiful place and friendly staff

  wonderful place and great hospitality. seaside hotel with a big pool. very entertaining evening shows with a fantastic animation. friendly staff, thank you Alessandra to took care of my children, you were very helpful.

  Holiday in Nova Siri

  Stayed at Akiris, room clean but basic, fitted our requirements as we were out and about all day. We found it a little quiet for eating out as it was the end of the seaon. However, staff very helpful English was basic, but so is my Italian, we managed. Pool and gardens were lovely, we went to the beach very enjoyable, lovely outlook. Would go again, it was ideal for families with little ones, lots for them to do.
