  Beautiful and relaxing hotel but lacks cleanliness and maintenance

  GUTI no doubt beautiful, with nice interior design and a nice pool in every room. It was really quiet when we checked in on 16 May 2018, probably because its a weekday and I think we were the only Ones there. Indeed, we love the privacy but it gets quite scary in the night being in the middle of the forest and the closest town 15 mins drive away you can imagine how it is. Despite the resort owner having a nice taste in design and letting guest have a taste on how a 5 Star Villa is like at decent price, I wouldnt return. Reasons: - The room lacks maintenance - stains on the floor, water heating not functioning properly, lights dont work, air conditioning is leaking badly and noisy, outdated tv with bad display, mattress no longer holding firm. - The room lacks some cleanliness - stains on lounge chairs, lots of dust everywhere especially at the open bath area. I dare not open the door to access the bathtub because it was so dirty and there were millipedes inside. The outdoor patio is filled with birds poo and no one bothered to clean it. - The resort lacks pest control - I understand that we are in a hotel built in the middle of the woods but the insects were everywhere. If youre afraid of insects, this resort will be your nightmare. I am not sure how many cockroaches are hiding in the curtains because every time I draw it open I see a few roaches. Lizards are seen running around in the room. The opening concept dining near the reception is a bad idea, food were left open and you can see flies patronising. Mosquitoes were everywhere too. I was actually quite reluctant to enter our own private pool because insects were floating around. Fortunately after a swim, everything on the surface is gone. By the way dont ever thing about going to the common pool because it isnt as clean as the one in your room. Dont get me wrong GUTI, your resort is beautiful and Im sure you provided a great service to all your guests. You just need to invest in some pest control management and maintenance. You deserve fantastic reviews if the 3 main things Ive mentioned above are taken into account.

  Having a wonderful stay here,,,

  On our third night of three here at the moment and wondering why this hotel has had some bad reviews, all I can say is that possibly the management have auctioned the points already or that the critics have been a little over zealous with their criticisms. Check in was very welcoming, efficient and helpful, we actually were accommodated early as the journey through Bangkok Was unusually quick, welcome drinks were delicious and we were quickly delivered to our room. Clean and comfortable with very good air conditioning, coffee machine but no kettle for tea, not a problem though room service delivered one within 5 minuets. Very private quiet and not overlooked, of course in the evening anywhere in the tropics mosquitoes will abound, no problem here, little bit of repellent and they go away... cant blame the hotel for that. Breakfast is delicious and the staff wonderful, rooms huge and clean,,, TV and internet fine, Thai programs but hey this is Thailand, what do you expect to find on a Thai tv,,, lol. We love it here and are looking forward to returning. Come in a car, bring some mozzy repellent, bring some snacks and enjoy the Thai countryside and nature in style....

  Relaxing place with infinity pool

  Good place to fulfill your energy Nice infinity pool good for kid Room is a bit old but acceptable with price Nice breakfast Super good services all staff super nice Recommended Spa especially Thai massage

  Relaxing trip with infinity pool and amazing mountain views

  We stayed here this month. We saw this family hotel hidden away but close to the city and we were shocked by the amazing service and quality of the room. I throughly recommend AKA GUITI and I hope you do to. It has family rooms, double and single rooms so it suits everyone. Everyones happy!!! Thank you for a great stay.
