awesome place to relaxthe room was very comfortable and well organized. the staff was friendly and spoke English here and there. it was easy to get there from Berlin with public transportation (1 regional train and 1 local bus) - total travel time was 2 hours. the spa facilities were good with lots of options (2 pools, several saunas). the region is very nice and easy to explore on foot or bike (which can be rented from the hotel) - also good for running.

Not worth the moneyThe rooms were okay, nothing special. No shampoo or conditioner but I take my own anyway. I didn't like that you could see into the shower as it's only closed from a curtain next to the bed. We enjoyed the outdoor pool but the indoor pool was cold, even trying to swim you didn't warm up. We ate in the afternoon and the food wasn't very tasty. We didn't try the evening meal. Breakfast was good we all enjoyed the different foods on offer. Parking is 11 extra which we didn't know before. All in all it's a nice hotel but not worth it for the price. I wouldn't return.

Good resort for vacation, but somewhat impractical for businessWhile traveling in the area, stayed at this resort, which is well stocked with vacation-type amenities: golf course, next to a lake, sporting facilities, hiking trails, etc. However, I was there for business, and it is not designed for the typical business traveler. Worst part - no A/C in the hot German summer, and no fans available from the hotel. Service was on the low end of average.

Average clean hotel near golf coursesStayed here to play the Rainbow Open golf tournament and it was ok. You need a car here as there is no public transport and only 2 taxis in the whole area. Easy downhill walking distance down to the ARosa hotel and the club house (10-15 mins), on a forest road. Unlit after midnight so pitch black. A bit too far to carry clubs. The hotel itself was clean in the public areas, ok breakfast and has a little 24-hour grocers shop. Some of the staff were friendly, others rather brusque. Everyone was really slow. The hotel has no irons to borrow (which I think is a basic service) so dont expect unwrinkled clothing. Bedroom wasnt cleaned during our stay, bins not emptied, dirty glasses not removed. Veggie food very limited and staff a bit rude when asked -just take the bacon out. We were denied a later check out in a rude manner with no real attempt to help us. We only stayed here because it was a lot cheaper than the ARosa. Would have preferred to stay there. If we stay at the AJa again will depend on the price, but they really should do something about their staff hospitality.
