No era lo que esperabaEstá perfectamente ubicado sobre la calle de los mejores restaurantes de Airlie y cerca del puerto donde parten los ferries. Las habitaciones son viejas pero cómodas, limpias y confortables. No se justifica pagar las habitaciones con vista al mar excepto que estén en el segundo piso, de lo contrario se ve más el techo de los restaurantes de la planta baja que la playa. La pileta está encerrada al lado del estacionamiento con vistas a la pared, es mejor pedir unas toallas e ir a la laguna pública.

Worst customer service by general managerWe were out with a large group (24ppl) friends for a dinner at the restaurant tonight. Every couple spending over $100per couple alone on food. I would have been the 6th order at 7:23pm ordering the $48 eye fillet cooked medium for myself with pork belly bites entree $20 & a garlic bread to share . At 8:20pm myself and a few other at the table asked the waitress if there was going to be much more wait on our food only to be told 'it will be out when its ready'. At 8:30 i approached the manager Greg about my meal, he politely replied ill check with kitchen. 10mins later other meals started arriving and my steak arrived last, warm, over cooked and dry. I cut it open knowing it was going to be over cooked, i waved down Greg again tk let him know , Immediately he offered to replace it, which i asked about time taken to replace it, i was starving at this point,'dont worry ill get it put on straight away. 25mins later i approached him again. 6mins away he said. So i asked for my money back and said It takes 6-8mins to cook a eye fillet too medium no 26mins. Knowing it had not been started. Sorry mate we dont give refunds, i can only offer a 'FOOD ONLY' voucher. Really 2hours later no meal no refund, no offer of a complimentary drink?? Everyone else at our table had finished eating. As NO ONE was a local i asked for my money back again 'Greg responded with "its not our policy to refund,if you have a complaint take it up with the owner"... who says that. Never im my life have i had or heard of a manager of such a big restaurant reply like that . Greg's attitude and complete lack of giving a f..k about the business his enployed to run poudly was extremely disappointing on so many levels. As the owner of the business i would be fuming and to put simply i would let him go. Although i stayed calm at the time GREG did rub every single other person at the table up in a very bad way with his attitude and responses because Everyone within our group 'besides myself being a construction small business owner' are either managers or business owners within the hospitality / food and beverage industry in Queensland and to my surpise have alot of connections and will be intouch with the owner tomorrow.

Meal was abwrageWe had dinner in Australia Day 2021 Drinks are ordered at the bar and were good, but the food definitely lets the place down. Its over priced pub food - I ordered a fettuccini carbonara and although it was a very healthy serving the bacon was just clumps of uncooked fat and frankly way too much of it. I literally separated it from the pasta and left half or the entire dish uneaten. The seafood pasta was bland. The pizza was good. We go to Airlie every 6-8 weeks but we wont be going back for a meal here.

Amazing staffWe had a wonderful night. Andy was a stand out and such a warm wonderful character. Had a great evening will be back. Keep up the good work Andy and glad you agree football is soccer. Love the Whitsundays

Room was great, however...Booked in for a single solo night stay after a weekend with friends on the islands. Check in went smoothly, the room was modern and clean and was everything I needed. Great location, very convenient having the restaurant and pub right there. The hotel itself was great. The disappointment came upon check out when I asked where the lobby bathroom was, and WHILE I was in the toilet, the front desk receptionist charged the debit card on file without asking, even though I had already paid for my booking via booking.com. During working out the mistake that was made, she attempted to tell me how manage my bookings and that I should have amended/adjusted my original booking instead of cancelling and rebooking. However its my belief that that is none of her business to try to tell me how to book my travels, and little did she know I canceled for a reason as at that time I didnt know I would be staying in Airlie beach. She processed the refund on my card with 1 quick apology, making me feel like I was inconveniencing her. I said to her lucky I hadnt left yet and she muttered something inaudible under her breath. I now of course have to wait up to 7 days for that refund to be processed, along with the release of the $200 pre-auth on my debit card. A very sour end to what would have otherwise been a 5star experience.
