  Could be great

  This is a nice hotel (or in truth, a guesthouse/ pension) that could easily be a 5 star review; why not this time? Here is my detailed analysis: Room 5/5; clean, modern, large, comfortable. Bfast 5/5; great selection in pleasant dining room. Bed, sleep 5/5 Location, free parking 5/5 WiFi 1/5; it simply doesn't work. It's intermittent and unreliable, with a weird logging on system that seems to give three accounts per room, but my room never seemed to be the best signal! Hotel facilities 1/5; for a hotel at this price bracket it needs a bar, a gym/spa, a public lounge etc. It has none of these things. Service 3/5; the staff are really nice and friendly, if you can find one! Reception is rarely staffed and the phone number given after hours didn't get answered the one time I needed it. Also, my room was left without towels on one day, and completely un-serviced on the next day; this is unacceptable at this price point. Further points: No ventilation in the bathroom other than the rooflight window; fine in summer, not fine in winter. Worn out thin towels. On the 2nd floor there are no door numbers! So combined with no staff to ask on the first day I got lost! Showers need non-slip mats, as they could be dangerous for elderly or infirm people.

  Great hotel room. Clean, comfortable. Nicely done bath with shower. My WiFi was fine and the room was serviced well. Breakfast was excellent. Location within short walking distance to dining and pub. I hope I have a chance to return again.

  Great hotel, amazing staff. 3 months in Landstuhl

  Great Room, Spent 3 months here. I have no complaints Micheal and his family welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family. The breakfast was a traditional German breakfast. This hotel is a walking distance to many great restaurants, grocery stores. Micheal was very informative when we asked about different places to visit. He kept us up to day on different Festivals around the area. Walking Distance to Burg NanStein, and restaurant. From My experience every room is a little different. not a bad thing just a different experience each time.

  Just Like Family

  Stayed here 2 months for work. Clean, good housekeeping, family-owned/operated, helpful and accommodating staff. Michael and his family make guests feel like family. Changed my whole impression of German people (in a positive way) after less-than-wonderful experience before in another local hotel. Great, central location. Hints for improvement of apartment I had: drawers in bedroom; room numbers on doors. Parking exclusively for hotel. Air conditioning would be GREAT!!

  Wonderful place to stay!

  The hotel is a true gem! The owner and staff treat you like family! The are multiple options for rooms, all of which are very nice! The location is perfect and they even have an amazing breakfast offered every morning! Everything that you would want in a place short or long term! Thanks Michael for your hospitality! J. Jaynes
