  Family Meal

  Warm welcome on arrival. Excellent service by the front of house. Food was good and the service was at the right pace. Good wine and beer selection. Kids enjoyed playing in the garden. Overall a good night during our holiday.

  Overnight stay

  Had a lovely stay for one evening. All the staff were friendly and personable. The hotel downstairs was nicely furnished. The food was lovely had goats cheese starter and their burger. Too full for pudding. The rooms were clean and tidy, a little dated but we had our own dressing room. The shower was very powerful and most importantly the bed was comfy and room was dark which made for a good nights sleep.

  Lovely meal

  Booked online for an evening meal. Really friendly team and good service. The meal was lovely - we chose all of the 'nibbles' for a mixed starter for all of our table and the Haggis bon bons were delicious! Good meal overall, pleasant atmosphere and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.

  Delicious lunch

  Visited as part of our holiday. Food was very well presented and very good quality. Staff were helpful and attentive including the owner who is obviously a big dog lover. Our whippet felt especially welcomed Lol.

  Evening meal

  So lovely to have a local cask ale as a welcome - Due South is by far the best beer Ive had for a long time. Very welcoming team, great table with a superb view and really exceptional food. We really, really enjoyed our evening. Thank you so much from the 4 of us. Made our holiday We will be back next year, and well book early to make sure...
