  Sea View ,good location, very early check out!

  The hotel is situated above a popular cafe/restaurant on the small main street of Santa Maria. Its not a particularly noisy establishment but you can hear the general 'hum' of conversation from the rooms and I would guess this becomes more noticeable on the lower of the 3 floors. Our room was on the second floor at the side of the building and was smallish but very clean and modern. We had a balcony with sea view (albeit over the roofs of buildings on the sea front). The balcony was rather strange in that was sort of communal. ie there was no divide between rooms so you could in effect walk right along the balcony passing other rooms. We therefore found it necessary to lock all doors and windows when going out. The room was fine and we ate in the restaurant and that was perfectly acceptable though not huge portions. My only issue was with the check out time. This wasnt mentioned to us when we checked in so we assumed it would be 12, or maybe 11. We were surprised therefore when we checked the night before leaving and were told it was 10am. I've never been in an hotel anywhere in the world with such an early check out time, so took this with a 'pinch of salt'. We had an evening flight from Cagliari so I somewhat cheekily decided we'd have a lie in and leave around 11. Unfortunately, at 10am, the chambermaid walked into the room without knocking to find us in bed! I can't really argue with that as we should have been out of the room, but a 10am check out, rigidly enforced does seem a little harsh. In summary, its a decent enough hotel in a nice quiet resort, fine for a few nights, just don't expect a lie in on your last day!

  Bonito hotel en Santa Maria Navarrese

  El hotel es centrico, 5 min de la playa, con habitaciones sin y con balcon. Recomiendo coger la del balcon, porque se ve hasta el mar. El hotel tiene su cafeteria, heladeria y esta cerca del puerto de donde se cogen los barcos a las calas como la cala Sisine, la cala Luna, la cala mariolu.... El hotel nos ofrecio el transfer al aeropuerto/2h el viaje a Cagliari en taxi. El personal ha sido muy amable. El desayuno variado con frutas, croasants, zumo recien exprimido.

  Loved this place in the off season

  We arrived in April, got a sea-view room, very nice. Best if you speak Italian here. My companion knew French & one of the staff had a rudimentary grasp of same. Otherwise, you're on your own. This hotel's restaurant dinner nothing to write home about, but the expresso, at a sidewalk table in the morning: loved it!!!! Drives home the fact that Americans know next to nothing about making coffee! Downstairs every morning, a German expat sat, at his sidewalk table. Also every morning, a local guy rode his bike by, his dog trotting along beside him. We stayed here for access to the local marina, the Porto turistico di Marina di Baunei e Santa Maria Navarrese, where you can rent a boat to go up Cala Luna & drop anchor at a secluded beach, all to yourself. When the boat rental people tell you not to let go of the anchor, TIE the thing to the deck!!!! Don't know why they don't. Otherwise, this boat trip alone more than made up for the entire air fare to Sardegna, much more. One other note: Italians don't eat until late in the day. If you want food any earlier, there's a supermarket in town. Good roast chicken & not much else.

  Great stay

  Extremely good value for money. Room was clean (a little on the small side), service at reception was always friendly. Breakfast spread was terrific and the bar downstairs a great place for a drink before dinner. Beach only a short walk away. Would definitely recommend.

  Great beachside hotel

  The location is amazing and the hotel is just newly renovated. The beach is just few minutes to walkby. The view from the terrace is amazing. Definitely I want to come back. And the host is very kind.
