  A fantastic experience!!!!!

  Our family booked several apartments at "il Sapito" in late May, 2006. The staff, Claudia in particular, were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. In addition to staying in the apartments we also went on a wine tasting dinner at one of their other properties (also beautiful) and had a group dinner at their facility called "il Brigante". The wine, food and atmosphere were excellent. Claudia also took our small group on a guided hike of the farm and surrounding areas. Our entire experience at "il Sapito" was wonderful. I cannot recommend it enough. "il Sapito" is an apartment rental in the country, not a 5 star luxury hotel with 24 hour concierge and bell hop staff. You do have to look after yourself a little bit which is normal for this kind of rental. With that said, the level of accomodation and the location combined with the friendly staff and great price makes "il Sapito" a fantastic choice for 95% of travellers. My wife and I and our family have travelled extensively in Europe and we will stay here again. Bellissima!

  I booked a few nights in Il Sapito, and I was impressed by the place, the location, and the amazing panoramic views of the perfect nature all around. It's a wonderful place to relax, and spent some quality time with your loved ones, family or friends. The staff was very helpful, supportive, kind and very friendly. Im sure that I will come back again, it was the perfect holiday for me. I highly recommend it.

  Very expensive - damp dark musty rooms

  We booked for one night only as passing through area. Apartment was musty, dark and, frankly, depressing. The lighting flickered ominously and the wi-fi, although free, was unreliable. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the swimming pool dirty and unusable. Very pretty setting in the Tuscany countryside. Pet-friendly.

  Great location, fully recommended

  This is the heart of Tuscany, close to a lovely 3k habitant city of Montaione. It includes two Tuscanian houses with probably 5 large apartments. They all have separate gardens and access thus the only place you meet other guests is the pool of parking. The apartments are full size with a full kitchen, bathrooms and all with beautiful cozy taracess hidden from each other. The pool is a lot of fun. Usually part of the guests is sightseeing so we never had crowds. The hosts are very helpful and supportive. You will always find help. Take your bike or hiking gear, becauss Tuscany is perfects for this. From Il Sapito you have a long list of places to visit, from the epic Siena to smaller fantastic villages.
