Far from public transport. Car is must!We just stayed at this place for 2 nights. We are 3 girls with 3 big luggages. We came without car and it was almost impossible to reach without car... Also the family running this hotel speak little English only. Which means that they were not able to give us any clear directions to the hotel. Thus, we went ahead with the unclear directions and took the bus to Agerola from the Amalfi port. Be aware that the bus is always fully crowded at all times and you have to push yourself in! On the bus, when we were the only ones left, we asked the bus driver where this place is. He told us (in Italian) to get off and take the next bus without explaining any further! So we were forced to get off in the middle of nowhere without a clue. That was a total disaster! We had no map, no clue and the place did not seem to have any other transport! Luckily a very nice lady called Maria passed by and saved us. She drove us to this BnB. The BnB is very well hidden, we would not have found it without her as the bus stop was also at least 10min away. With luggages it might take 20min or more. The problem is also when leaving the hotel. You cannot carry your luggage that very steep path to the bus station and the bus is always very full...It was a mission impossible. When leaving we just decided to pay an expensive taxi ride to Naples... To be fair, the hotel was quite new and had very nice views! The staff was also nice although we had communication problems because we don't speak Italian. But if you speak Italian and have a small car with you, you should be fine.

The guesthouse to remember when visiting the Amalfi coastIts not for everybody which is what makes it great! Agriturismo is the way to go when you want an authentic stay - and this one is perched between two spectacular cliffs facing the Mediterranean. Its a few km down with the car (to get to where all the tourist action is) but well worth it! The best part is the silence - the only thing you hear in this place is nature. Agerola is where the Sentiero Degli Dei (path of the gods) begins so you can actually hike down to the coast (a few hours) and take the bus back up - but we missed this one because time was just too short! The room was new we stayed in was completely new (july 2018) with a deep balcony overlooking the vineyards. The hosts were great and the spreads at breakfast were quite invested. A must.

Secret hideaway in highlands! What a lovely place in the middle of the Amalfi Coast! Everything is at hand. But it is so quiet and relaxing! You walk down the street and all the people greet you like you are one of the locals. Several very nice restaurants around (including the one in the hotel with very good home food, great respect to the Chief! They almost opened the restaurant for us in the off-season!). And our room with a grande terrace was a great gift for mourning yoga classes. Yes, the neighbor dogs barks sometimes, but it is so lovely and it is the soul of the place:) It just protects your peace and serenity:) Respect to you, little guard:) And what a great view from the terrace! 10 minutes and from 100% shiny everything gets covered with CLOWDS! We had a great time and already miss this wonderful place.

Agriturismo Orrido Di PinoWe only stayed one night at the Agriturismo Orrido Di Pino, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Beautiful views but the smell of animal manure made sitting on the balcony or leaving the balcony door open impossible. A typical Italian breakfast was served in the morning. The location was out-of-the-way and hard-to-find. A car is a must to get there however parking was limited and a distance from the bnb, we had to haul our luggage down a steep hill to get to the bnb)
