  La magia de la Toscana

  Se trata de un amplio y magnífico agriturismo toscano. Nosotros nos alojamos en uno de los apartamentos que tenía un pequeño recibidor, baño, salón con cocina y una habitación. Completo y acogedor. El único defecto es que las paredes son muy finas. Cuenta con diversas terrrazas. El agriturismo esta situado en una colina con lo que cuenta con un área muy amplia ideal si vas con niños. Las vistas desde la piscina, a unos 400 metros del edificio principal así como toda su zona, son espectaculares, toscanas. No estaba abierto el servicio de restaurante, si servían desayunos, pero en Palaia (3 minutos en coche) hay diversos de muy buena calidad: petirrosso, bacciomeo,... Palaia está relativamente cerca y bien comunicada con Florencia, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra... pero es necesario viajar con vehículo propio. Un lugar y un agriturismo muy recomendables.

  Beautiful place in a perfect location

  This is a lovely old hunting lodge on an olive farm on a hilltop overlooking fantastic Tuscan landscapes. The rooms have been beautifully decorated and the family are excellent hosts. The picturesque hill-town is a short walk away and the people are friendly. A car is necessary for day trips to Pisa, Luca, San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena. (I took the good advice of taking the train to Florence.) Enjoy country life and easily visit the great art cities in Tuscany.

  UNPLEASANT EXPERI

  My girlfriend and I wanted to spend the holidays with family friends who had already booked at La Palazzina. When contacting the lady owner she said no room was available, only apartments (much more expensive so not within our budget). I decided to look for an airbnb in the neighbourhood and was surprised to see a room available in that same place! So I booked it (instant booking so directly accepted and confirmed) before some else did and informed the lady by message via airbnb and also via email. Since no response for some time I called her to see if all was ok. She was very unpleasant!! (I wasn't surprised to see same comments about it from other trip advisors users)!!! She didn't appreciate I "outsmarted her" and that I booked the room via air bnb and not through her. Why was the room available on airbnb then..?(The room was announced a normal room, no other comments). She insulted me (rule number one not to do to a customer..) several times and said she didn't want me at her place, I managed to be calm and didn't want to insult her like she did. She mentioned she would be even happy if we didn't come and that she wasn't going to cancel the air bnb so that I had to pay a penalty cancellation fee. Of course I cancelled because I never want to see this lady. I really do not recommend this location to anyone. Luckily we found an alternative at Montopoli with people who were very nice! The saddest part is that we were not able to spend the holidays at the same location of our family friends which is to me the saddest part.   Super place to relax and discover Tuscane

  Spacious appartment. Well equipped. Very friendly owners with homemade breakfast. Lovely and clean swimming pool. The location is good to visit cities and villages in the area of Tuscane. It is really charming and recommended.

  No sense of hospitality

  Should have trusted negative ratings before! After a stressed welcome late evening but not in the middle of the night ("You know: I sleep!") the furious host cancelled the booking because we arrived an hour later than estimated and communicated. No sense of hospitality at all. We had to find accommodation in the middle of nowhere with two little children. There are way more friendlier people in Tuscany than this. Safe your money for a better experience.
