  Wonderful hotel!

  We just returned from a trip to Sicily and our first few nights were at this lovely resort. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and well appointed and the grounds are beautiful. If you stay you must have the dinners there- they were the best we had during our vacation. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying near Ragusa.

  Beautiful, relaxing, great service and food

  We stayed at Il Granaio for a weekend. The site is a little way out of Modica so it is very quiet. The pool area is beautiful, lots of trees that create a pleasant atmosphere. Our room, a junior suite had all the amenities and included a jacuzzi. It was very comfortable. We had lunch a couple of times, everything was very fresh, and mouthwatering. Lunch is provided in the gazebo, the shade and breeze make it perfect for a summer lunch. We also enjoyed dinner at Il Granaio, a 4 course meal at only 28 euro per person, fresh, delicious ingredients, with the meal being provided in a balcony area overlooking the fields, it couldn't have been more beautiful. The service throughout was super. I sprained my foot quite badly whilst in Modica and the staff at Il Granaio were on hand to provide me with ice and offered to drive us to the pharmacy. They were really very kind. They also have a lovely spa where you can have a massage. Last thing, the cakes and sweets offered at breakfast time were delicious. Really well done Il Granaio, a beautiful location, great service and delicious food. Would love to visit again.

  Amazing trip!

  If you are looking for a truly authentic family run agriturismo this is the place to be. The rooms are clean and spacious overlooking the beautiful gardens of the property. Breakfast has a great variety , a must try is the fresh Rikotta and cherry tomatoes..we also tried their evening dinner which is served on the terrace overlooking a great panorama of the surrounding fields. Also a great thank you goes for all the staff and Giorgio for fixing the bikes so we could experience a ride in the area. We will be back!

  Fabulous!

  Very comfortable and relaxing. Giovanni, the owner/manager is always on hand and just wonderful. Breakfast on the roof terrace and evening meals in the dining area were top notch and honestly, everything was perfect!

  Perfect

  This is such a relaxing place to stay, from the warm welcome to the delicious food made from locally and family produced ingredients . The Di Raimondo family work hard to ensure that their guests have a happy stay. The swimming pool, gym and spa are all immaculate and beautifully presented. The gardens have a wealth of lovely flowers, lemon and walnut trees. Not far from Modica, its also easy to get to the coast and to all the stunning Baroque towns in south east Sicily. If you stay there do eat in the restaurant- the food really is excellent and prepared with high quality ingredients. Very fresh and natural . The best food that we ate in Sicily. The homemade pasta was exceptional . The olive oil pressed that day was the best I have ever tasted ( and I have tasted a lot!). Despite the olive harvest being very poor this year we received generous gifts of the oil and some homemade pasta when we left. Would love to return as soon as possible for as long as possible !
