  A relaxing country hotel set in a lovely olive grove.

  A welcoming hotel with a quiet, spacious atmosphere about 40 minutes walk from Assisi. The garden was lovely, saw loads of birds included a hoopee pair. However, there is no restaurant and so we walked up the main road to a delightful family-run place. The walk back in the evening really needed torches since it is an unlit country road. Breakfast is downstairs in an uninspiring basement room. Rooms are air-conditioned, spacious and quiet. The hosts were attentive and friendly. They talked of plans to open their own restaurant, I think it will be a great success.

  Beautiful country hotel

  This hotel is set amongst the olive trees and has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The rooms are basic, with air conditioning (although it was not working when we were there) and no fridges. The hotel has no restaurant which was a little odd. They had this lovely area off of reception with a bar, tables and a garden extension but were not using it for anything. They even served breakfast in the basement? A little confusing since I would have loved to have breakfast overlooking their lovely garden.

  Okay but could have been so much better

  Accepting the region is suffering the aftermath of recent earthquakes and bookings are down, various shortcomings we experienced should not have been occurring were the proprietors more switched on to guests' needs. For example, no hot water until we mentioned it, a temperamental door lock, broken shower holder, etc. Also, we endorse other reviewers comments about breakfast being demoted to the basement when the ground level dining room allowed spectacular views across the valley. The only explanation would seem to be the downstairs room's adjacency to the kitchen, but with no hot food being served, this simply points to a convenience for the owners, which should surely be overridden by guest enjoyment. In conclusion, we expect our holiday experience to be better than 'home living' but that wasn't the case at Olivi and we would thus look to 'upgrade' when next in Umbria.

  Excellent stay and staff

  We stayed with our 2 kids, the place is in the middle of olive trees, just outside Assisi. It is excellent location if you want to avoid staying in the center, but close to the village. The room was large and clean. Plenty of parking, very quite area. Good breakfast with homemade cakes and biscuits. We found the price excellent for the quality of the stay. The owners were extremely kind and discrete. The guy gave us lots of great tips for sightseeing, he knows a lot and conveys his passion for the valuable surroundings. If I went back, I would definitely come back. I would recommend the place, I do not see how people cant love it.

  Hospedaje en hotel boutique incluyendo los alimentos

  Posada familiar, atención personalizada, Emiliano y Diego, te reciben y te dan trato especial, ubicado a las afueras de Asis, rodeado de olivos y membrillos, las comidas excelentes, te ofrecen vino de la region, bastante aceptable, y las pastas ni que decir, de lo mejor, el paisaje es único, recomendable en todo sentido.
