Needs updating but good locationIf you want original Greek feeling you will like this hotel. We found it very dark, room was small, bathroom tiny. When sitting on the toilet, your feel were in the shower tray. Lots of original features, including two mannequins dressed in Greek costumes in reception. Close to the beach which has pebbles but really clear water. Very clean. We asked to be moved after two days as it was not what we wanted as it was a bit oppressive but may suit some people. Staff nice. The location was quiet but enough places to eat close by.

Great traditional hotelStayed for two week at this lovely quaint hotel. Breakfast was adequate, plenty of choice for us, they even had proper fresh filter coffee!! Pool area was nice and clean, we didn't bathe by the pool, other guests mentioned that the pool was very deep and very cold, that wasn't a problem to us,because we were too busy exploring the island, plenty of good walks and stunning views. Excellent beach and good bus service. Some lovely tavernas. Our room was traditional clean and tidy. Shower area was ok. The staff were polite and helpful.

August 2020 2 weeksLoved it.... was perfect for us. Switched from another holiday and pleased we did. Very traditional hotel, quiet... thought the owners were great... they just dont speak a lot of English... I speak less Greek. Spotless..regular towel and bedding change ...fridge... asked for kettle .. got it... good balcony. Pool spotless,... deep ,6 foot - 9 foot... small area for children... even that was quite deep ! 2 mins walk from pebble beach.. hours spent on beach ..panormos is lovely...7 or 8 tavernas ... no music bars... no TV bars.. fantastic sunsets ... the whole thing is like a step back in time... if this is your thing... this is the place.

Some good, some bad. This hotel boasts the 'Certificate of Excellence' flag which surprises me The good: Nicely situated down a short lane off the main road and with a large parking area. Approx. 1oo yards from the attractive beach of course grit In a pleasant village with a mini-market and numerous restauraunts. Good size SWIMMING-pool. Everywhere [incl. room] kept spotlessly clean. Towels changed regularly. The bad: The whole main pool is too deep for non-swimmers. Reception area bizarre and dark. 'Strange' owner and staff generally unfriendly. Breakfast - poor [and that's being kind]. Quite noisy in our 'sea-view' [just] room during the day at times when neighbours were strimming and building. Unusual toilet - if seated feet were in the shower. No matter how careful whist showering water always managed to flood the bathroom floor. Final point- the journey both ways was long and very tiring but we did really enjoy our two weeks in Skopelos.
